While Patrick was in the bath, I convinced him to take the rest of the day off to spend some time with me, though it took a lot of convincing. He feels like he is being useless if he's not in his office, but after I explained to him that I just wanted to cherish our time together before the war came, he was easier to persuade. I ended up joining him in the bath and then we had a late lunch together. Despite the cold weather, we went for a run and Angie had made a beautiful dinner for us when we got back.
