I wake up in a fright having dreamt about Vampires. The sun is shining brightly now, I check the clock to see that it is 11am already, but Patrick is still sleeping beside me. When I left Sonia last night she was still distraught, but the exhaustion had taken over and she was falling asleep, her sobs turning to hiccups. We already knew that it was Karnak who had taken control of her mind, but to see that she had been bitten by him was another level of horror. I'm relieved that it wasn't here in the house that he had gotten to her, but the Jade Moon territory is very close, too close for comfort. How did he manage to get onto their land unnoticed?
