I stir my porridge, too lost in my thoughts to focus on eating. I didn’t sleep very well last night; thoughts of Dorothy and Karnak haunted my mind. I just want to leave, get to Karnak’s home as quick as I can and have this all done with. Whatever happened to Dorothy, I am confident that I could take care of her either way. My gut is telling me that this has to do with Karnak. Is he feeding on her or using her like he did Sonia and the Jade Moon warriors? The thought crossed my mind that maybe, just maybe, she has been turned by Karnak. But what would be his reason for that? There were no female Vampires at the battle which I found strange. I don’t even know if a human can be turned into a Vampire. I know how to kill a Vampire now, so if she is one, I won’t be too worried. If she is not a
