I quickly hide my gifts in the chest beside my Grandmother's bed and go to have my bath. The water is steaming hot and Patrick was generous with the scented oils. The hot water feels like heaven on my tired muscles. I relax in the heat and think about everything that has happened, everyone we have lost. I still can't quite believe it, it all feels like a strange dream. A nightmare. I cry once more for the lives that were lost.
