Chapter 57_Ashton’s POV I stormed out of the dining room before anyone could stop me. The scrape of my chair against the floor echoed harshly behind me, but I didn’t care. My father’s voice was still ringing in my head. He said it like it was protection. Like it was something that would solve everything. But what it really was exile. And I couldn’t allow it. As I stormed down the hallway, every step felt heavier than the last. The thought of Moana being uprooted, sent to a city all by herself, surrounded by people who didn’t care about her, made my chest tighten. Her life was not something to be handled as if it were just another business decision, and the fact that my father of all people could look at her like she was just a pawn drove me into a silent fury I could barely control.
