Chapter 28—Moana’s POV We got home late. The garage door rolled up and down with a dull thud. I stayed in the car for a moment after the engine stopped. My hands rested on my lap. My mother came down and urged me to go inside to prepare for the party. I looked at her but didn't say a word.
