Today was the day. The day we finally struck the Martellos, the culmination of weeks of preparation, planning, and intelligence gathering. Every detail had been checked, every shipment of weapons cataloged. Nadine had been pivotal in this. Her contacts, her networks, her ability to predict the Martellos’ moves, it was flawless. Without her, we would have walked straight into a trap.
