Chapter 7: Supermodel“What ugly thought?” Cody said.
“Changing poopy diapers,” Jace said, and laughed.
The next morning on the way to riding lessons, Jace got a call that made him laugh. When Cody got home, he had news for him.
“Shower and dress quickly,” Jace said to Cody. “We’ve got places to be and people to see.”
“How should I dress?” Cody said.
“Casual will do. This visit isn’t about us.”
“Huh?”
“You’ll see,” Jace said.
Cody showered and dressed quickly, then he, Jace, and Rusty were on their way to Jilly’s theater in Old Town. The three were warmly welcomed into the theater lobby by Hamilton, who had his lights and equipment set up.
“Hi, supermodel,” Hamilton said, then walked to Rusty, crouched down, and petted him. “Thanks so much for bringing him, guys.”
