Making my way to the door, just as I was about to grab the handle, it flew open. Thane stood there. "Lola, we need to go!"
Grabbing my hand, he pulled me along with him, "Wait, what's happening?"
Another loud bang shook the walls, "Dam it!" Thane crused out, but he didnt slow down. Before I knew it, we were downstairs and moving toward the backside of the house.
Thane stopped at a bookcase at the end of the hall, pushing a book. There was a sound, and then the bookcase moved a bit; Thane grabbed the side, pulling it open, reaching just inside the little door frame.
