I looked out the window, with my hand on the sword I found on my thirteenth birthday, watching as a vampire chased a woman up and down the road. Every day I would ask my grandparents if I could go outside, but they said no, trying to protect me. I could defend myself, but I wouldn't argue, since they just wanted to protect me. One day I went outside to check on the animals (we lived on a farm) and I had a sudden vision of a vampire man being stabbed. Then I heard a woman's voice say "You have killed my husband. Your child must now kill me." So, I asked where we'll meet. "Where do I meet you?" She replied with "The old warehouse with a train driven through it. I will wait for you there." I wondered how I was able to communicate through my vision. However, I had known that since I was able to communicate, it meant that her husband was killed by my parents.
I walked around the side of the warehouse to where the entrance is a smashed wall broken by the train crash accident. I saw her creep in with a dagger in her hands. Well, she wasn't wrong, I got to kill her. I snuck up behind her and stabbed her through the back to through the heart. She tried throwing her knife but before she could I stabbed her hand. I kept stabbing her with the sword, but something in me made me stop. I wasn't weak, but I didn't feel strong enough, even though I was very much strong enough. Was it mercy?
Well, as I walked away from the dead vampiress, I saw the image of a beautiful, genuine, happy smile. I went home to prepare my things so I could leave. I left a note for my grandparents so they know I left, and I attatched the fang of the vampiress I killed. Then, I left.
