Valfore the Vampirling

We continued through the woods. I started feeling a little strange around Terra. I didn't understand the emotion I was feeling. Was I sick because of something I ate? Am I homesick? What's going on? I wondered as we walked. My heart felt kind of fluttery when she smiled or showed joy or kindness. I felt happy around her and liked getting to know more about her. She likes cake (she has a sweet tooth in general, that's a pun since she's a skeleton. She found the pun funny) and She likes puns. She became a mechanic because she likes helping people and became well known for helping the village we were at the other day. I noticed how similar we are, because I liked helping people, too. I also loved puns. Maybe we didn't like all the same foods, but we both liked cake. "Stop! Wait! Hello!!" I heard a voice screaming. I looked behind us and saw a younger person running towards us. He wore a scarf that covered most of his face, revealing only his eyes. His hair was in a small ponytail. He had a short sleeve shirt with shorts and boots and gloves. His outfit was a blue color scheme. "Miss Terra, may I please join your team?" He beamed with excitement. "You should ask him." She pointed at me. I noticed that this person was a vampire. But he seemed like a strange kind of vampire. "Are you a vampire?" I asked him, incase it was a disguise. "What's a Vampire?" He asked. Terra and I exchanged looks. I let the person join under one circumstance. "What's your name?" I asked him. I needed to know his name. "My name is Valfore!" He seemed excited. "Well, welcome to the team. Be careful when around vampires. They bite. Literally." Terra laughed at my comment. So did Valfore. Soon I started laughing, too.

We continued through. "Hey mister, I have a question." Valfore said. "Ask away, buddy." I replied to him. "Are you and Terra married?" That question surprised me. I blushed at the thought of me and Terra. "Uh... no. we aren't." I could hear Terra laughing and somehow struggling to breathe (She's a skeleton, if I somehow haven't mentioned or if you skipped ahead here).
