Willow

512 Words
There was now only half a month left to wait until Terra's child would be born. I was panicking in my mind because I had no idea how to care for a kid. I didn't even know what to say when Terra tried coming up with name ideas because my mother wanted me to name myself but I couldn't. "How about Willow? It's a beautiful name, right?" Terra asked me. I actually liked the name idea. "Yeah. That's... actually a beautiful name." I then had an idea for my own name. "Hey, that gives me an idea for my own name." I said. "Well, what is it?" Terra asked, a little eager. "William. My name is William, now." I told her. " 'William'. Nice name. It suits you very nicely." Terra told me. She kissed me and then she got up to go to bed. I was still kinda panicky, wondering how to care for a child. So I went to someone for advice. "Hey, Dr. Morris?" I knocked on his door. He answered the door and opened it. "Yes? Oh, hey! You really need a name y'know." He said to me. "I have a name, now. I'm William." I told him. "That's an amazing name for you! what are you naming your child?" He asked. "We agreed on 'Willow' ". I replied to his question. "I need some advice." I told him. "What do you need advice on?" He asked me. "How did you take care of a child?" I asked him. He seemed a little surprised. "Well, I showed her care, love, kindness, patience, and I raised her right. I did my best." He told me. Somehow, that actually helped me a lot. "Thanks, Dr. Morris." I told him. "You're welcome, William." He replied to me and went back to bed. I walked to the living room (I slept on the couch). The next day was actually more peaceful than these last few days. The half month was over, and Terra was sent to a hospital in the town nearby. The cashier from the store was there to help. Her name was Stephanie and she was Dr. Morris's sister. She brought blankets for our child. Valfore point of view I waited in the waiting room and Terra and William, feeling worried about them. After a couple hours, a nurse came and said "Are you Valfore? Terra and William want to see you." I followed her to the hospital room where Terra and William waited for me. Terra was holding her child. "Your child is adorable." I said. I mean, it's true. I'm not wrong. "Her name is Willow." Terra said, with a smile. She seemed so happy with her child. William sat in the seat next to her. William point of view Terra stayed at the hospital so the doctors could ensure her and Willow were perfectly healthy. They knew Willow was half vampire, but didn't see her as a threat. Instead as a symbol of difference, being different from any vampire. I waited at home for Willow and Terra.
