It was still a wonder to me that despite how tough I thought I was, Marco could still speak to me so casually without fear. Sometimes he said things that made me wonder if he had no fear in him at all. And right now he was asking me if I wasn't sure I was sleeping on an opportunity by not getting along with Sophia.
"Wait until you get here, and then you say that to me to my face. I'll think of the perfect answer for you then," I said to him, and I could hear him laugh as he ended the call.
He always found it amusing to tease me, and I wondered how we were able to create such a relationship, yet he seemed to be my favorite person.
I was there in my study pacing as I waited anxiously to get the address that Marco seemed like he was not going to be texting until he got here
