I was feeling rather unsafe since he started talking about how uncertain things were going to be if the government was interested in me if I went back to Chicago. At first I thought he was saying all of this because he did not want me to leave Rome and go back home, but then, seeing the way he was very insistent on asking me to be extremely careful, a part of me felt like he was only trying to look out for me, but then how could I trust the criminal?
I mean, I have come to know that he was fighting for a good that was not recognized by the country. But then, with people like Damian, there could be secrets, and having grown up the way I did, knowing different things and having been made to face different challenges alone, I've come to realize that things could be way deeper
