Chapter 14 After they’d ridden off, Sofia couldn’t seem to stop laughing about it. She’d just get it under control, but it burst out each time she looked at him. It was a nervous, girly giggle that she’d only ever defeated by teaching herself not to laugh at anything. But it kept slipping out. “If it tickles you so goddamn much, maybe we should try the same thing when I meet your grandmother.” She wasn’t sure if he was more upset by how he’d met her mother and eldest brother or by their interrupted intentions.
