Chapter 9 Nati had never seen so many faces. Through the entirely of her life. They were a mosaic of colours, shapes and sizes, five-year olds to women older than her, but there was no way she could refer to any of them as elders. Not with the way they looked at her, not with how wide eyed and simple they looked. They crowded in on each other, skinny shoulder pushing in on skinny shoulder. With all the different sizes, there wasn’t a fat child between the lot.
