New Lotus and Her System

The next day, dawn, the sun was rising from the horizon, its rays reflecting off the nearby lake and opened the dark world like a knife.

Lotus was awake in a new spirit from the 21st century. Now Lotus was the modern killer Lotus, not the old dumb Lotus.

"Who are you?" Lotus sit up dizzily and stared at the strong man coldly and asked in confusion. The man hadn't answered.

"Where am I?" Lotus continued.

She had no idea where she was, or how she had ended up here. She was unconscious for a long time. She traveled time to reach here and enter a totally new soul.

All she could do was explore the unfamiliar terrain and hope to find her way back home. Home? Well, she has no home. But she should be back.

The man couldn't understand what did she say and replied nothing. He picked his tools for hunting. It was time to hunt food.

Lotus was annoyed but had no idea about the mysterious guy.

After a while, the man disappeared into the forest. Lotus stepped out of the cave, taking in the view of the sea with a newfound appreciation for life. She had two people's memories.

On the one hand, she remembered the life she had been living in the 21st century when she hunted down wealthy businessmen and the president for money as a top killer in the killer club. It had been a dangerous job and one that was not always successful. But it had provided her with enough money to live until her most recent assignment had taken a turn for the worse.

She was betrayed by her boyfriend who promised to marry her after this task. But he sold her track to her enemy who buried a bomb in her helicopter. So the helicopter exploded and she jumped into the deep sea with no rescue. She died in the sea silently.

On the other hand, there was another Lotus who lived in a small pack in this paranormal world. She had an arranged marriage. She loved her to-be husband and they had a one-night stand which made her pregnant. But he brought his fated mate back into the pack.

He canceled their marriage and announced to marry his fated mate. He wanted to get more power. The dumb Lotus decided to leave her pack to seek a new happy life for herself and her baby.

Both of the two Lotus led a tough childhood filled with being laughed at, bullied, lacking love, and self-abasement.

Lotus' head was hurt at that moment. Who was her?

After taking a few moments to breathe in the salty air, Lotus decided that it was time to continue on with her journey. She had a goal ahead of her, and she was determined to achieve it.

"I'm coming!" The strong man roared from far away. And his cute dog who was asleep all day ran toward him.
