4 months later. Lotus woke up feeling refreshed and reinvigorated. She stretched her arms and legs, feeling the soreness from the previous day's activities fading away. As she opened her eyes, she saw the morning light filtering into the cave, bringing with it a warm glow that illuminated the space. She got up and went outside to breathe in the fresh air. She was glad to see that the cave's surroundings were much cleaner than before. She smiled, feeling satisfied with her hard work. Lotus had always found solace in cleaning and tidying up spaces, and this cave was no exception. After breakfast, Lotus decided to go out and find new sources of food. She walked through the forest, enjoying the sound of birds chirping and the rustle of leaves under her feet. The forest was alive with activity, and she felt at peace amidst the sounds of nature. As she walked, she noticed that the forest was starting to thin out, and soon she found herself at the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea. The view was breathtaking, and she stood there for a few moments, taking it all in. After a while, she decided to explore the shore. She made her way down the cliff and walked along the beach, picking up shells and stones along the way. As she walked, she saw something move in the water. She looked closer and saw a huge lobster crawling on the seabed. She felt a sudden urge to catch it, and without thinking, she jumped into the water. The cold water shocked her, but she quickly recovered and swam toward the lobster. She reached out and grabbed it with her bare hands, feeling a sense of triumph as she emerged from the water with her catch. She saw some kelp floating nearby and decided to pick it up as well. Lotus was excited to share her finds with Adar. When she got back to the cave, Adar was still out hunting. She put the kelp, the lobsters, and the shiny stones on a large leaf and covered them with another leaf to keep them fresh. She waited for Adar to come back, eager to show him what she had found. As night fell, Adar returned with a rabbit that he had caught. Lotus showed him the kelp and the lobsters, and Adar was delighted. He had never seen anything like it before. He eagerly helped her prepare the food, and they enjoyed a delicious meal together. After dinner, Lotus helped Adar clean up. She noticed that his beard had grown longer and messier since the last time she saw him. She took out a pair of scissors and started to trim it. As she worked, she couldn't help but notice Adar's features. She had always thought of him as just an ugly barbarian, but now she saw him in a different light. He had a strong jawline, deep-set eyes, and full lips. She found herself drawn to him in a way that she couldn't explain. As she finished trimming his beard, she suggested that he wash his face. Adar nodded, and Lotus went to fetch some water. As she poured the water over his face, she felt a strange tingling in her fingertips. Adar looked up at her and smiled. At that moment, Lotus realized that she was attracted to him. They sat by the fire, talking and laughing, and Lotus couldn't help but steal glances at Adar. He seemed to sense her gaze, and he looked at her with a twinkle in his eye. They talked late into the night, and eventually, Adar fell asleep. Lotus stayed awake, watching him as he slept. She wondered if he felt the same attraction towards her, or if it was just her imagination. Muk-Muk Some strange noise sounded far away. And Adar opened his eyes at midnight. Lotus woke up to the sound of a twig snapping. She sat up, alert and ready to defend herself, but then she heard Adar's voice. He was muttering to himself, and his voice sounded strained. She couldn't make out what he was saying, but she knew that something was wrong. She got up and followed Adar quietly, making sure not to make any noise. She could hear his footsteps ahead of her, and she tried to keep up without being seen. She moved quickly, weaving through the trees and bushes, trying to stay hidden. As she followed Adar deeper into the forest, she failed to follow Adar. But she encountered something strange. She discovered a guy covered with black scales whose eyes are red. His veins were bulging, and he looked like he was in pain. Lotus felt a chill run down her spine. She had never seen a man like this before, even a werewolf. Suddenly, the guy stopped. He turned around, and Lotus quickly ducked behind a tree. She watched as he looked around, searching for something. His eyes were still red, and his breathing was heavy. Lotus could hear her own heart pounding in her chest. The monster walked a few steps forward, and Lotus seized the opportunity to follow him. She moved as quietly as she could, trying not to make a sound. But then, she stepped on a dry twig, and it snapped under her foot. He turned around and saw her. His eyes widened, and he let out a low growl. Lotus froze. She didn't know what to do. She had never seen a human like this before, and she was scared. She watched as he took a step towards her, his eyes fixed on her. She took a step back, but then she heard a noise from behind her. She turned around, but it was too late. He lunged at her, but she managed to dodge him. She ran towards the noise, hoping to shake it off. But he was fast. He caught up with her quickly, and he grabbed her by the arm. She struggled, but he was too strong. Lotus looked up at him, and she saw that his eyes were no longer red. They turned green. He looked confused as if he had no memory of what had just happened. He let go of her arm, and she backed away slowly. She looked around, trying to figure out where the noise had come from. She saw a dead deer lying on the ground, blood pooling around it. She looked back at him, and she saw that his hands were covered in blood. Lotus felt sick to her stomach. She didn't know what to do. He had killed the deer, and the blood was still warm. She looked at him, wondering if he was a vampire, or if he was possessed by some evil spirit. She didn't know what to think. The guy looked at her, and she saw the confusion in his eyes. He seemed to be struggling with something. Was he know her? No possible. She sneaked from him cautiously, not knowing what to expect. He looked at her, and she saw that his eyes were no longer green. They were a bright red again. Lotus felt a shiver run down her spine. She didn't know what to do. She felt trapped like she was in a nightmare. She watched as his eyes glowed in. She was ready to pock him once he attacked her. She had no power to run cause she was a pregnant woman. She thought he would kill her but he leave there without signs. Lotus had spent the whole night trying to make sense of what had happened. She had followed Adar into the forest, only to see a monster. She had managed to escape from it, but she didn't know what had happened to him after that. She had spent the night walking around the forest, trying to find any clues, but she had come up empty-handed. As the sun began to rise, she decided to head back to the cave. She was exhausted and wanted to rest. As she walked towards the cave, she saw Adar coming towards her. He looked like he had been in a big battle, his clothes were torn, and he had many wounds on his body. Lotus was startled and took a big jump back. Adar didn't even look at her. He stumbled towards the cave and fell to the ground. Lotus rushed to his side, trying to help him up. But Adar didn't move. He was breathing heavily, and his eyes were closed. Lotus tried to wake him up, but he didn't respond. She looked at his wounds and saw that they were deep and bloody. She realized that Adar needed medical attention. Emergency!
