Chapter Five

Alex Pov

I can't believe she said yes, I was so happy that I cancelled training for the week but when I arrived at house and she opened the door, I knew something was wrong because I could feel some of emotions even though we were not mated yet and when she told me what Edward did I felt like killing him but she begged me not to, we watched the hangover together but when we half way through the third part of the movie I noticed she had fallen asleep, she was so beautiful as she slept I could look at her all day and not get tired but I had to put her to bed so I took her upstairs and eventually found her room as she slept I looked around her room and noticed she had no pictures of her mother and she didn't talk about her and there was nothing about her mother in the files Eric sent me about maybe later I'll ask her. I was lost in my thoughts staring at her when Eric mind linked me about rouges at the northern border of the park which was close to Iris house, I told him I would take care of it, I kissed her goodnight and left.

On Monday morning, I waited for Iris to come to school but I didn't see her and I was worried but I didn't panic cause I thought that maybe she didn't what to come to school but I became worried when she didn't come to school for a week so on Friday after school I and the guys went to her house and we rang the doorbell but no one answered, I tried her password and luckily it was her date of birth. We entered the house and everything was exactly as I left it the popcorn bowls, the blankets it was as if she hadn't gotten out of bed. What if mate is dead? Xavier said in my head and I didn't like him thinking that our mate was dead but I was still scared I ran up to her room and the others followed me I opened her door and lo and behold she was still on the bed , she was breathing but it was faint I rushed her to the hospital .
