Alpha King's Only child

Chapter 2

***Unknown POV***

I have just received an invitation to the Alpha King's Daughter Birthday. I can't deny them since he is the king and it might look bad if I don't go. I decided to get my beta in on this.

"Dylan we have been invited to the King's Daughter 18th birthday. Do you think we should go?" I ask wanting his advice.

"Alpha we can't turn down the king and his daughter she will one day rule us so it's best to be on her good side"

"yeah I thought you might say that i

guess we are going get some warriors to

come with us the strongest she might be mated to one of them" I say hopeful

If she ends up being mated to someone from our pack we might get a extremely great alliance out of it. I wonder what she looks like. I've only heard stories that my father told me.

***RAYNA'S POV***

My birthday is just a couple of days away. My mother has been driving me crazy with all the party planning and everything. Today I have to choose my hair stylist, make up artist and which place i want to cater the even. This is already too much for me and I don't enjoy it. But still it has to be done. I meet my mother on the fourth floor of our 5 story pack house or might you call it castle. Our pack house has 100 rooms. On the fifth floor is the Alpha suite where the Alpha and his family stay. It has 20 rooms and they are all huge!. The Fourth floor has the Beta suite with another 20 rooms but just a bit smaller that floor also holds the offices for the Alpha, Luna, and the Beta. There's the third floor with 20 rooms for Visiting Alphas and their Betas. Then the Second floor has about 30 to 40 rooms. The First floor has the Gym, theater, kitchen, and a big dinning hall that fits all of our pack members plus some. Outside we have the training grounds and 100s probably 1000s of homes. in the middle we have a big festival hall that holds more than 10,000 people. That's where we'll be having my party.

I decided to go and let my wolf out on a run and destress a little. I run towards the beautiful water fall and in the lake I can see my wolfs reflection. She's very tall compared to other she-wolfs, has jet black fur like my hair and is very fluffy. My eyes are more red and yellow than brown in this form. As I look in the water I hear my phone go off and see that my mother is calling I shift back to my human form and grab some clothes.

Mother: THE CATERER IS HERE! WHERE ARE YOU!?!

Me: Im on my way mom. Ill be there in like 10 minutes.

As i walk into the kitchen I see my mom Judy and the caterer. My mother looks annoyed and Judy is trying to calm her down.

"Mom! I told you id be like ten minutes. Stop freaking out" I say.

"Just hurry up we have to meet the hair dresser and make up artist" She says in an angry voice.

I just chuckle and explain to the caterer that I want a house salad and quesadillas for appetizers and for dinner i want the choices to be steak with mash potatoes and string beans, chicken Parmesan, or rice with pinto beans and chicken. My mother seems impressed that I already picked the menu but after im done she rushes me to the hair dresser.

"Can I just do an Arianna Grande look but I want some braids on the sides and coming from the pony tail" I say thinking this might look badass.

"Yeah we can for sure do that it might take a while but we can work at the same time the make up artist is with you"

After we get done with the hair dresser we go to the mame up artist I tell them that all I want is red and black on my eye shadow but not too much make up. Im not a make up loving person so the least is the best for me.

"Hey mom, Have you picked out the cake yet?" I say wondering cause she never tells me anything about the cake.

" Ohhh of course I have honey but just know that you wont find out what it looks like yet" She says ans she lets out a mischievous smirk.

"You always do that. But I have to be honest you never disappointed me with your cakes" I say happily

My mom might not be my best friend but she knows how to get a good and tasty cake. Every Birthday or event she always manages to get the most extravagant cakes. The best part they aren't just beautiful but they are delicious. l

It's 2:00pm the day before my birthday and other Alpha's are gonna start arriving soon enough. I walk outside to were my father and my mother are. Behind them is Jason, following me and standing behind me is Pete since he'll be my beta he has to be here so we can start building relationships with the other Alpha's.

Alpha Jack arrives first flowed by Alpha Tomas and then Alpha George they were the ones I was most excited about after them it was just many Alphas that I was meeting for the first time. The Alpha from the third largest pack was here and he seemed to remember me a lot better than I remembered him.

His twins aren't little girls anymore they are teenagers and they are also very nice. They greet me with the biggest smile. They both look just like their dad. Dirty blondes, green eyes and a light complexion. They are beautiful and about a couple of inches shorter than I am.

After an hour and a half most packs were here but I noticed I didn't see the Alpha from the second strongest pack.

"Hey dad! wasn't the Alpha of the second strongest pack invited?"

He responds "Ohh yeah he said he was gonna be on time for the festivities but was not gonna be able to make it today"

"that's a shame I was hoping to meet him today"

"ME TOO" shouts Molly "Oh well I guess we'll have to wait till tomorrow. Let's go train and burn off some steam girl"

I follow her and shout to Pete to come train with us.

When we get to the warrior grounds we first start with all three of us against each other. After about half an hour we switch to me against Molly and Pete. This is usually how we do it since im the Alpha king's daughter I have a lot more strength and can take them both on at the same time. We actually really enjoy this.

"s**t guys it's 5:30pm" Dinner starts in an hour so we all rush to the pack house to get changed and shower since we have been training. After I get out of the shower I put on some high waisted jeans and a cute long sleeve loose shirt that's toked into my jeans and some boots that come up to.my knees. I let my hair air dry and its 6:20pm and my hair is still wet. I decided that my hair being wet was not a big deal so I head down stairs on my way I see Pete and Molly waiting for me.

" Either seen or smelled your mate?"

"No. I was hoping she'd be a strong warrior" Pete says

"Honestly me too" Molly agrees

The three of us have been waiting for today because it could be the only chance we get to find our mates. As we all walk in i see my Father Will and Jason.

"Hey guys any luck finding your mates?" My father smirks. Hoping for a no from me.

I glare at him. "Now father if I had found my mate you'd be the first to know"

Him and Jason Laugh. Molly, Pete and I just take our sits. I sit the the left of my father while Molly sits next to me. Pete is on the Right side with his father sitting next to mine. After we sit my father stands.

"I just want to take a moment to thank you all for being here. As you know my daughter will be 18 tomorrow and during this she hopes to find a strong mate to help her run our kingdom. I encourage all the Alphas to bring forth your sons so we can meet them today. Again I appreciate everything each one of you does to help this kingdom"

As my father sits down I glare at him.

"WHAT?" he asked with a smirk on his face and shrugs.

"Really father bring forth your sons?"

" I thought it might help"

Next thing we know we have all the Alpha's and their betas standing with what seems to be 2 or 3 males each.

"MATE!" Molly yells.

"See i told you this might help" My father says smiling. Molly has been like a daughter to him.

As Molly gets up we see one of the warriors from our third largest pack basically run to her. He picks her up and swirls her around. My father's Gamma Jerry Stand up. He is Molly's dad so he goes over to them to introduce him self and explain that Molly is next in line. Of course this now means that if Molly doesn't want to be the Gamma she can give her position to her mate.

"Warrior what is your name?" I ask.

"Jonathan" He reply's with a smile.

"Jonathan as future Alpha and as respect for my future Gamma I ask for you to join us at our table" I smile at my best friend.

Molly seems to be beaming while her and her mate talk and get to know each other I see Pete looking disappointed I know he wants to find his mate. We both do and im a bit scared that he might be mine.

****Unknown POV****

Tomorrow is the Alpha kings Daugther birthday. I had hoped to be there already but my work is keeping me. Since both me and my top people have to go its been hard.

It's already 9pm. I need to finish this stuff so we can leave early and at least Catch the breakfast feast.

" Alpha you should be wrapping up we don't want to be late tomorrow" My beta scolds.

"I know Dylan I just want to have everything ready. I might meet my mate there tonight." I say hopeful.

"Of course Alpha. Just make sure you rest well." He says with a small smile.

It's already 11pm and im heading to my bedroom and starting to dose of. As I do so I can only imagine how happy id be if i find my mate.

"Alpha WAKE UP!!" Dylan yells annoyed.

"Dylan go away" I say even more annoyed.

"Alpha its 8am! Wake up. You're gonna make us late!". Dylan yells while shaking me.

F*ck I forgot to set an alarm. I wake up and run to shower. As i get out of the shower i put a black suit on with a yellow tye. I have to look my best so I brush my jett black hair back. Gladly the suit doesn't show off any tattoos except for the ones on my hand.

As I walk outside I see my Beta and Gamma and our strongest warriors. They're having breakfast because we probably missed the one at the Alpha king's. After breakfast we start getting ready to leave and I let the Alpha king know we are an hour away.

It's 11am when we arrive cause it took us till 10am to leave. As we arrive we see what looks like a castle. Gorgeous stone walls to the pack house it's enormous. As we drive We see many many homes with family's it looks like everyone is coming home from breakfast and starting to get ready.

When we get to the front of the pack house my beta and gamma get out first. After I get out I see that the Alpha King and his Beta are waiting for me to greet them. I walk towards them.

"I apologize for the delay Alpha King. I had to take care of pack related things." I say was I give him a low bow and shake his hand.

"No worries Alpha. I know how crazy things can get with big packs after all you have a great sized pack. Let me introduce you to my beta Jason. Sadly my daughter is getting ready with the future beta and gamma so none could be here. Please make your self comfortable Ill have an Omega help you with your things."

As he says this an Omega comes and ushers us to the second floor where our rooms are beautiful decorated with gold and white. There's a very big window that looks into the woods and the view is breath taking.
