At Muley point, the air hung heavy with fog and dampness seeped into the ground. Thorne and Darius cautiously slowed to a stop in their wolf forms, as they saw the silhouette of two other wolves in the distance, Matteo, and his beta Caden. Thorne, his fur a deep obsidian black with a white streak on his mane, stalked slowly ahead of Darius, and signaled him to hold back. As he did, he saw Matteo’s wolf, a large grey wolf on the heavier side, amble towards him ahead of his own beta, Caden. But what he lacked in fitness he had in weight, which he used greatly to his advantage in Thorne’s previous experience.
