Willa Field
-.-.-.-.-
Five:
Final remembrance
-.-.-.-.-
Once again, as she slept, Willa was placed in the darkness from the dream she had the week before, but this time the ginger knew it was much different. For one thing, when she looked down, she found that she was dressed in a blue version of Rosa's dress in the snowy scene the ginger first saw her:
And, she felt like she was alone, someone was watching her with loving eyes.
Willa licked her lips, a gesture she did to calm her racing heart, and she moved her gray eyes to look up again. Like the last time, Willa was expecting pure darkness in front of her like before, but there was the strange mirror against the black wall surrounded by a white light; begging Beauty to come near and peer in to see its secrets.
She c****d her head in anxious excitement before she made her way to the mirror, smiling softly when she saw the other ginger smiling back at her lovingly:
"Hello sister, it seems you like to keep me waiting quite a long time." She said in a teasing tone. Since Beauty experienced this once before, it wasn't so surprising to hear her talk, in fact, it was comforting. It was like finding an old friend after years of thinking she was alone.
"I'm sorry, Rosa. It seems my mind needed time to rest before I tried to remember again. And I'll be honest with you, I still don't understand this. I'm trying, but it is so crazy. All of my life, I thought these kind of things were impossible in the world I knew…."
This statement earned her a giggle and a shake of her head, Rosa seemingly thought her as a nave girl who was blind to the world around her.
"You will soon, sister, don't worry about figuring this out just yet. Just focus on remembering. Speaking of which, we have a lot of work to do before you wake for the day. I want you to remember at least a couple big memories so Adnet can see you becoming yourself again. Come, let's get going." Rosa raised to touch the cool glass, smiling sweetly, her head urged her to meet hers, but Willa raised an eyebrow in doubt:
"Last time I did that, I fell into the darkness. Why should I do it again?" She accused softly as her head tilted to the side slightly, gaining another giggle and a roll of green eyes, the one thing that was different from the two girls.
"Let's just do this, sweetie. It'll be all over soon and you will be clearer once more."
Willa took in a breath to calm herself again and she lifted a hand to the smooth and cool glass. And as soon as Willa did, the mirror and darkness melted away, causing the other ginger to fall, screams echoed around her fading form…
.-.-.-.-.-.-
When she crashed onto the wooden floor of some unknown place, her breath stopped for a moment and she couldn't move a muscle to stand or even sit up. A few moments passed before Rosa kindly pulled her up into a sitting position as she whispered into her ear, pointing to a middle-aged woman running into the room with hurried breaths:
"This was our birth, Willa. This isn't a pretty memory but you need to see it. I'm here with you, so don't be afraid." And with the whisper, the room was filled with an excited shout.
"The baby is coming, Your Mastery! Hurry!" The nursemaid screamed as she ran into the throne room, where a handsome mid-twenties man was standing in front of the colored window.
When the grey-eyed girl moved to the window, she found that it was a cold, beautiful November in the mysterious place when the king and queen were welcoming another new heir to their kingdom, it seems to be:
Willa turned confused then, and after a few moments of watching the snow danced its way down on the wind, she looked at her guide with questioning eyes. She smiled and begun explaining in a soothing voice.
"When we were born, the year was the most magical time in both the magical and unmagical world, 1937. You see, it was the swinging early 1900s when Prince Kyo Honda was betrothed to the second most beautiful princess of the world. The princess was the heir to the southern Fall Kingdom, her name was Calla Zarah Sayed, and her power was over both wind and the light of the sun; the second rarest powers a fairy ever can hold.
They first met when they were twelve and the contact started an endless love between the southern fall fairy and the eastern winter fairy, making our grandparents very happy seeing how powerful daddy and Calla were. The kings of both kingdoms knew that if the heirs would marry, the new heir would be the most powerful fairy Da Fae would ever see and they would be the powerful ruler ever to sit on the throne.
The kingdoms would become one, and that's what happened:
And a year later, Calla announced her first pregnancy with our beloved elder sister, which sent out a roar of excitement throughout the kingdom. She was born and was loved instantly, our mother thought she was the best gift ever. And then, when Bella reached the age thirteen and on December 23rd of 1925, mother announced that the young princess will be the queen. However, when we were born, her plans were derailed."
Willa pursed her lips after Rosa finished her story and then she watched as the scene played out in front of them:
King Kyo gasped happily, his heart drummed against his chest, and then he took off to the royal bedroom where his beautiful wife was screaming in pain. He rushed to her side and took her tiny hand into his giant one, squeezing it with a giddy grin laced to his lip.
But he could feel something was off about his wife and he was afraid that she would write their new daughter off as an unwanted gift. And although he was so happy about his beloved daughter, that thought almost made him want to scream at her, but instead of ruining the new princess's birth, he said this.
"Calla! You are doing amazingly well, my love, just more one push and it will be over!" He soothed loudly as the sound of rain mixed with the queen's screams, his strange blue eyes were sparkling happily.
Her hand squeezed Kyo's hand once more before she let out a loud howl, pushing once more before a healthy cry filled the room. The room started to buzz with activity, caring for the new princess of Wza Gar—the main city of Eastern Da Fae—and laughing with glee over her cute moaning and crying.
After the nursemaids were done cleaning her body and wrapping her tightly in a pink blanket, one nursemaid gently tried to lay the baby girl on her mother's chest, but the fairy queen growled and ordered the maid to keep the baby away from her, rolling on her side to forget she ever given birth.
With a frown and a nod, she walked over to the king and older princess, who were smiling ear to ear. After the nursemaid tenderly handed the pretty baby to the sixteen-year-old princess, she hummed softly as she caressed her cheek:
"Oh daddy, she is the most beautiful thing I ever have laid my eyes on. She is a true princess! Why is mother refusing her?" Bella questioned sadly, her blue eyes were sad as she met his gaze. The king sighed, his hand stroking the baby girl's lightly-haired head as his bright eyes trained on his wife's back
"I don't know, aijou*. I'm afraid I'll need you to help me with her." Kyo sighed and move his gaze back to Bella, who was smiling reassuringly.
"Don't worry, father. We will get through this together."
"I know we will, baby girl. So, what are we going to name this beauty?" He asked soothingly, his former grin grew by the minute, gaining a giggle from Bella.
"Rosabella Honda."
Willa watched the scene with her hands folded tightly to her chest, her heart welcoming the memories like an old friend. She knew now that this was why she always felt she was missing something in her life, she was living, but it was only with half of her heart. Deep inside, Willa knew that her story was just waiting for her to return.
With a small smile placed onto her tiny, full lips, she turned to her smiling guide and lifted her hand to meet Rosa's waiting palm, waiting for the fall into the next scene:
-.-.-.-.-
The scene begun as the girls stood hand-in-hand in front of a strange-looking tree. A twenty-one-year-old Bella was smiling as she and a small version of Rosa made their way to a car, but the little girl didn't look pleased.
"Sissy, do we really have to go?" The five-year-old girl whined, pouting like the cute little girl she was with her arms stubbornly crossed over her chest. Bella laughed motherly as she knelt to her baby sister, her blue eyes sparkling with mischief:
"Ah, little rose, why are you so scared of going to the water elves' kingdom? The prince is very kind, I think you are going to love him and want to play forever. Daddy was just teasing you, my rose, don't worry about it." She stated tenderly, stroking Rosa's ginger hair before taking her tanned hand into hers as she tucked her black hair behind her ear, walking to the old car.
Willa looked at her sister sadly, figuring that her sister had to take over the job of raising her because Rosa's mother didn't want anything to do with her. But, when the green-eyed ginger noticed the other, she gave a reassuring smile and said this.
"It's okay, bishoujo*, Bella took great care of me. She is more my mother than the woman who gave birth to me. I'm strong for you because of her."
With that, they appeared in the garden Willa grew to love but in its early stage.
A moment later, the sisters walked to the back gate of the castle where a smiling couple standing in front of a grand fountain with a frowning boy between them, making Willa gasp when she noticed who the boy was.
Rosa giggled, remembering that day and how she acted. She also gasped when she first saw the handsome boy, and later when she could understand, the ginger knew that her big sister was right.
When Bella saw them, she started to smile wide and she rushed to the couple, but her sister was slow and growling under her breath. She did not want to be there, boys were gross, and daddy said that Aqua—the city of the water elves—was a terrible place.
"Anna and Steven, it's so good to see you again!" Bella gushed as soon as Anna was in earshot, dropping Rosa's hand tenderly to hug her old childhood friend while giggling with happiness. Anna laughed, hugging the ravenette tightly in return:
"Oh yes! It seems like forever since we saw you and uncle Kyo. But I guess that's what happens when you become guardians, no time to keep friends." She mused as Anna patted her brother's head, gaining a laugh from her cousin.
"Yes I suppose so, but its wondrous thing to be. Speaking of which, this must be your handsome charge. Nice to finally meet you, Adnet." Bella smiled, curtsying to him:
"Likewise, your highness. I heard stories about your adventures with my brother and sister in your younger days." The seven-year-old boy said with a bow and a polite smile placed onto his lips, but inside he was screaming to get away from this royal trap.
Both of the heirs were itching to leave for the same childish reasons, but for different wants. But if only they knew what will lead to when they meet eyes, they'd be all smiles:
For the girl, she was so confused about why they were here and she was scared because of what her father said to her about Aqua earlier. Sissy was assuring her that papi was just trying to scare her, but Rosa knew daddy wouldn't be that mean to her; she was his little rose and he loves her so much. So she believed her father when he stated that this place was dangerous and they shouldn't be there. No matter how pretty it was, it was dangerous. And the little beauty wanted to run away and hide from the elfin prince.
But soon, the girl's option of the elfin land and the future king will change as soon as green eyes meets amber eyes.
For the boy, it was annoying that he had to be there to greet a gross girl rather than be with his friends and play war as a king. But, no, he had to be here, for it was his duty as the prince to greet any other royal members of Da Fae and their children.
He huffed deeply when his annoying tutor nudged him in the side with her elbow, lifting his hazel eyes in reply to finally meet his doom while meeting the girl.
However, instead of meeting his and hers doom, they met their density in the eyes of the other person. When amber meets green, their minds went cold and time came to complete stop. A new story is born by a mere look:
"Who is that, Your Highness?" Adnet whispered in awe, pointing to the blushing ginger beauty behind the tall ravenette.
Bella turned slowly as the seven-year-old boy stood there with his mouth hanging wide-opened, and laid her blue eyes on her beautiful sister while her eyes were sparkling with mischief. Slowly, she spoke around a wide grin:
"That is my sister and the princess of Wza Gar, Rosabella Honda. Do you want to go talk to her, Adnet?" She waved her hand happily towards the shy-looking five-year girl while her grin growing:
"Can I?"
"Of course, but she is really shy, so you need to be patient with her. Do you understand, sweetie?" She asked sweetly, smiling as the boy returned the smile as he made his way to the shy youngster.
"Aunt Calla won't be happy with this. You know what that look means, Isabella." Steven whispered into his younger cousin's ear, causing her to sigh and moved her eyes to the pink-haired man:
"I know, but I don't care. The Fates chose her to be the queen and we cannot change that. Mother chose me too soon, now she needs to deal with that. I would never be what she wanted me to be." Bella stated simply, returning her gaze on the scene playing out a few feet away.
She smiled in respond, biting her lip as all of them watched the little prince walked to the shy princess with a slight blush on his bold cheeks.
He was so nervous to talk to her, but Adnet was drawn to her and he needed to talk to the beauty.
"Hello Rosabella, how are you?" He smiled shyly, c*****g his head to the side.
The girl chewed her lip nervously before slowly her hands gripped her skirt to curtsey to him. She feared the nerves were getting worse, but the smile placed on the boy's lips eased them a little and the shaking in her hands went away:
"I'm well, Adnet, thank you. And don't be so grow-uply, just call me Rosa."
And that was how their love story began, as nave children who thought they would be best friends for the rest of their young lives.
The boy vowed to be her guardian angel and to be always there for her when she needs him. Adnet wanted to be the only one to make her smile so beautifully.
For the girl, she wanted to be in his arms and never leave. Rosa felt that he was going to someone so special, the girl never wanted to let him go.
Either one would have foreseen the legend they just gave birth to, no, for it was too crazy to even imagine a story like theirs….
"This is when our story began. Where my fairy tale become to exist…" Willa whispered as the wind began to dance with her hair, not noticing the smile upon Rosa's lips as her hand lift up to the hand over the other ginger's heart.
"Yes, lovely, and there's more to see."
-.-.-.-.-
When Willa's eyes opened a moment after catching her breath, she could see that a birthday party was unfolding in front of them:
The kids ran happily through the giant castle's garden tent as the birthday girl sat still in her special chair, watching with a smile placed on her lips.
Rosa just had turned ten, and she was happy to see her three best friends here to have fun. Fingering her icy blue and white dress, smoothing it down a little, she thought back to the past five years of her short life:
After meeting Adnet that sunny day, the two children were difficult to part and was always together, alone happily, at least until when a ginger boy and a brunette girl entered their lone world. A whole new world to see with new faces, waiting to see their true selves and to reveal themselves to them. And from the day they met, they did just that:
The ginger and blue-eyed boy was named Alec Zawers, the future advisor to Adnet, and he was always slightly on the serious side but when he was around the three other children, maybe especially around the brunette girl, he was silly and outgoing. He loved his friends' laughter and when Alec was the cause of it, he couldn't help to smile. He wanted to make his friends happy because he knew that their home lives were crazy and he needed to make their lives a little better.
He was also a member of a kingdom, but not a fairy kingdom, rather than the Elvin kingdom. Elves are known to stay into their species because they thought that they were better than the fairies, but once in a blue moon, they adventure outside that silly idea and become friends with the other species in Da Fae.
And even rarer, they would have mated with a fairy or a Were, which in the case of a certain blue-eyed southern youngster that is what happened when he met the brunette girl's beautiful muddy-green eyes:
The brunette and greenish brown-eyed was named Maria Saweeys; she was the most outgoing female in her own kingdom, Xea Sae, and everyone knew the summer fairy was a fiery spitfire. The dancer of the Summer fairies is the most loyal person to anyone she loved and cared about, so when she met three new friends one day at Gae's magical boarding school she always stayed with them despite what the other summer fairies steered about being friends with bloody different races of fairies and species of Faen.
She would say that 'My people are meanies' or something else when the kids were grown with a roll of hazel eyes.
With two more bodies in their small group, Adnet and Rosa were content being friends with only three people. It was easier for them to be close to just a small group of friends, because when you were odd, it was harder for you to make friends. But they wouldn't change that for anything because being odd is better than following the crowd:
A tap on her shoulder shook her from the rushing memories, and slowly, she looked up to find her beloved blonde friend's amber eyes were waiting for her with a bright smile shining upon her.
"Hey, Rosa, can I give you my present first?" Twelve-year-old Adnet whispered excitedly into her ear. She grinned widely and nodded eagerly, making her ginger colored hair swirl around her head.
He grinned back, gripping her small hand into his to pull the girl up from her seat, and dragged her out to the castle's huge hedge maze, with Alec and Mari making kissy faces and giggling behind them.
Once they were free in the hot sun, the young boy moved to a chair and settled her into it before taking the seat next to it, fishing in his pocket for something. When a couple minutes passed, he finally took something out of it, laying it down in her lap.
She looked at the box for a moment before looking at her best friend, the boy smiled and nodded, urging her to open it, his body shaking with excitement. She smiled as she reached up to brush her soft fingers along his jawline to calm the shakes before her hands opened the little black box, revealing the most beautiful bracket she has ever seen:
On the face of the heart, it looked like a string of wildflowers, golden in color, was crawling up on each side, and guarding the sapphire jewel in the middle of the heart in the center of the bracket.
The design symbolizes Adnet and her relationship very well; the flowers symbolized him and the jewel symbolized her, the strings gently held the beautiful birthstone in the middle of the bracket, symbolizing the way her male best friend keeps the now ten-year-old girl sane and smiling. It was so beautiful.
The ginger young beauty gasped, touching the bracket lightly before she moved her eyes to him, smiling in awe:
"Oh, Adnet…it's beautiful, thank you….'
"Turn it over." His expression matched hers, filled with awe and wondrous joy.
She did, carefully so, and saw these words imprinted into the back of the heart:
I'm always going to be there to protect and steady you, I promise.—Adnet
Rosa smiled, turning her eyes back to his face with a loving stare. The love deep in her heart slowly rose a bit more to the surface as she lifted her hands to hold his hands tightly, whispering sweetly:
"Thank you."
With that, the two slipped inside and started to play again, this time, though, the bracket was safely around Rosa's wrist.
Willa gasped as the memories came like a train fast on tracks, feeling the block in her mind breaking with every memory she gained back. Like she was becoming her old self with a mixture of the girl she was then and now. The younger ginger looked at her guide with a smile of that as a child learning a whole world through a new fairy tale:
"Are we done yet? I'm ready to wake and give everyone a tight hug." This earned her a soft laugh and a shake of her fiery headed head.
"Two more and you can hug anyone you want, sweetie. But the next two won't be very happy and I'm so sorry about this." Rosa whispered sadly as she met the younger ginger's cold palm, making them fall into the next scene:
-.-.-.-.-
After the two stopped heaving from the fall, the newer version of the green-eyed beauty opened her eyes to see the neighboring spring fairies has had done their job well as the endless blue sky stretched overhead and the spring sun smiled down on the scene underneath the bright light, but the feeling on the ground was cloudy with sadness.
Willa heard Rosa sucked in a heavy breathe and she looked over to an old car, waiting for its passenger, with a teenage version of Rosa solemnly leaning against the mental. And then, fear for the long-due goodbye that was coming soon hit the ginger like a bus, it is crushing her heart under the pain pressure:
"Oh no, this is…."
"Yes, sweetie." Rosabella whispered a low tone, her green eyes turned dark with sadness:
Rosabella sighed deeply as her index finger played with her bracket, waiting while her back leaned back on the cool metal of the 1925 Studebaker.
Rosa was now nineteen-year-old and the most stunning beauty in the magical world to ever walked through eastern Da Fae. But now, she was frowning unbecomingly to her usually happy face, it was just too hard to smile today:
Adnet was going to help his uncle for five years as his worker while the then-thirty blonde man worked as the royal inventor to the were kingdom at the outskirts of Zea Sea's town. David worked in the weres' kingdom for the past eleven years, and he was talented with clocks and cars, therefore he was verily wanted as an inventor. But, he couldn't work with newer technology, so he needed help to fix anything he couldn't fix. So he roped Adnet into going to Swa, where are the were live.
And Swa is so far from her, who will keep Rosa sane when so much crazy is around? When her mother will make her even more insane when he will be gone? What about the promise that was edged into the back of her bracket: The promise to keep her safe and steady in this crazy time in their lives.
She didn't want to resent him for leaving her and their friends, but it is so hard to keep calm:
Five years is a long time to not see someone you cared deeply about, she thought bitterly as another sigh escaped her lips as her eyes rolled upwards.
Rosa knew that he had to go and he would write her every chance he will get over the five-year time, but it was the first time that the pair was going to be separated since they met all those years and that made the teen girl feel uneasy. And the ginger hated the feeling of dread:
She hated the hard knot of dread in her stomach, just sitting there in the middle of it, and twisting her insides with nerves.
When a hand came down on her shoulder, she jumped in surprise and the glaring thoughts were slowly disappearing as her green eyes met Adnet's amber glance, his eyes were a bit depressing and the look made her feel even worse when she saw it:
"Hello, rose." Adnet whispered sadly, his hand coming up to touch her cheek.
It seemed as if the twenty-four-year-old man was relishing the feel of her soft skin under his hand for the last time for a while. Rosa sighed once more before her hand slowly came up to wave a simple greeting, because anymore was hard to form:
"Let's go on a walk before I have to go." He suggested tenderly as he grabbed her hand into his huge one, gently pulling her towards the Aqua Woods next to his home.
They remained in an uncomfortable silence as their footsteps echoed impossibly loud off the beautiful and tall trees; the sound rang in her ears, almost deafening her. She wanted to say something, anything, to stop the deafening silence but her hands clung to the skirt of her bright yellow sundress so tightly, her knuckles turned white. Her hands were froze, making it difficult to free them from the endless silence, no matter how much she wanted to. It seemed as if time was slowing to stop, a frozen weight on the walking couple, making them painfully aware that won't last for long.
This was so hard for Rosa to face, the fact that they will be apart for a huge stretch of time when they were together for many years. Rosa knew this feeling was not just a friend saying goodbye to a best friend, but a lover losing a lover to another thing in their lives; she just couldn't voice her feelings to him because he was leaving and he had to.
He would stay forever if she were to mutter one word of her feelings, and she would soon die rather than stand in his way of a bright future.
She closed her eyes as a deep sigh, wondering why are goodbyes so hard, so tearfully depressing, to do?
Rosa questioned in her mind alone, but soon her mouth opened and the question sat in the heavy air, gaining a sigh from the boy as she watched his eyes rolled upwards to the endless sky, seemingly unable to look at her.
"Because there is so many words to say and so little time to say them, there is so much that is unsaid between us, Rosa. But I cannot say a thing because I know I won't be able to leave you when I get your answer." Adnet finally stared at her again with an unreadable gleam in those loving eyes:
"Why is it so hard for you, my sweet rose? Please, my Rosa, tell me what's going on in that pretty head of yours, I need to know even if it will be harder for me to leave you…."
Rosa bit her lip hard, musing the answer to that difficult question; the uneasy feeling started to burn stronger in her stomach as she was staring at the handsome older man leaning against a tree.
Should Rosa tell him the truth that she was dreading his departing and leaving her behind that she was in love with him and always have been since the age of thirteen? She sighed deeply as she swung her head to the side before Rosa took a deep breath in and slowly opened her mouth to form the waited-for answer:
"I think you are right, Adnet, there is so much unsaid between us. But there's no time to unshed the feelings the words would reveal."
Her head was lowered so she didn't see Adnet blinked in bafflingly confusion before a grin stretched across his thin lips as he walked towards her, feeling like he was walking on the air:
"My rose, are you saying—"
"Adnet, my boy! We have to get going or we will be late, come my dear boy!" Came the echoing, cheerful bellow of his uncle, ruining the last moment they would have together alone for a long time.
They stood there as the eerily cold wind blew through their bones, both unwilling to move an inch, they just wanted to keep on staring at the love of their lives. Why is it so hard to say goodbye?
They realized the answer was so simple and easy, but Adnet and Rosa could not say or do anything because there was no more time, no matter how they wanted to shed the heavy feelings in their hearts. There was no more time to do to shed the feelings….
Rosa sighed deeply, dropping her eyes from his and to the grassy ground, as her lips hesitated to say the last phrase Adnet would hear her say ever.
"You better go, sweetie. I'll miss you. Please don't fall into anything dangerous…." Her hands rubbed together, stopping midsentence, but the boy knew there was more to the phrase with her downturned eyes and the deep frown laced to her full lips.
He wanted to stay with her at her side, keeping his promise to keep his Rosa steady in this crazy time, and to love her the way she deserved to be loved. However, and heart-rending to realize, he couldn't stay.
No matter how much Adnet wanted to throw his duties to the wind and do so, he just couldn't. He was the prince and a good hearted young man, so as such, the blonde haired man was good for his word and he always kept his promises to his family. He just couldn't keep this most precious promise, and god, it kills him inside:
Adnet ranked a hand through his hair, growling deeply in frustration, and then he sighed sadly before he dug into his pocket for something, knowing there was nothing to do in this situation and he has to go.
Once that the thing he was looking for was in his hand, he grabbed her soft hand into his, placing it in her palm, before closing her fingers around the soft unknown thing and leaning in to whisper softly into her ear:
"I am in love with you, Rosabella. I will come to back to you, so when I come back, tell me your secret. This is for you to remember me by."
With that, the blonde man walked away quickly, afraid to see the expression on Rosa's face. A lone tear rolled down his cheek as Adnet stepped from the forest and as he left the first woman he ever loved behind him unwillingly, but the tears were endless when he heard Rosabella's hoarse, haunting, cry echoed to the sky:
For as the men climbed into the car, she finally revealed what he gave her to herself, the emotions ultimately took over when she saw the final gift…
A Water Stone ring was nestled in her palm, as soon as her greens hit the ring; she realized what was happening. For the Water Stone ring is the Water's Tribe's symbol of engagement….
"He proposed to us?" Willa whispered in awe, looking back at Rosa's teary gaze and with a mere nod, the older just lifted her hand to touch the younger ginger's hanging hand at the palm, sending them into the falling motion, as the crying faded away and away:
-.-.-.-.-
They fell into the same section of the trees Willa was the first time the memories started, where she saw the murder of Rosabella, and as she felt the stinging pain of the memory once more, she heard three sets of footsteps pounding against the grassy ground before she moved her eyes to her friends' running forms, Adnet carrying the lifeless body of Rosabella. She covered her mouth as the tears fell her eyes upon the sight of the pained look laced to his features:
"No, not this, please Rosa. I can't do this. I don't want to remember this." Willa shouted quietly, her hands were shaking as they clung to her sister.
Rosa bit her lip hard, hating she had to the younger ginger put through this and she wanted to just protect her from all the bad memories, giving her just the good memories. But, she knew that she needed to show her everything to ensure she will know the whole story behind the curses put upon them.
"I'm sorry, sweet girl, but you need to see this. I'm here with you, be strong, rose." She whispered soothingly, gently turning her around to face her fear, holding her hand.
Willa bit her lip, moving her eyes as the friends reached where they were running to and watching as they started to pounding at the local witch's house. She caught her breath as she tried to calm the raging emotions down while she held tightly onto the older ginger's hand for comfort as the scene unfolded in front of them:
After a few minutes of soundly knocking and pounding, a beautiful blue-colored haired young-looking woman opened the door with a worried sparkle in her blue eyes upon seeing the prince at her door in tears and clinging the cold body of the southern Winter princess.
"Adnet, Alec, and Maria! My children, what happened to Rosa? Come in, my sweets and tell auntie what is wrong." Amelie soothed the group as she waved them in, touching them as they passed her, before leading the friends to the living room where Adnet told his best friend/aunt everything that led them there:
When the young handsome man finished his story, they sat in silence as Amelie was trying to forget the words of the story. The woman didn't want to believe that Zara would want to go that far, but the proof was there laying across Adnet's lap.
While they were trying to calm their emotions once more with a deep breath and Maria sat with one hand clutched over her heart, as if she was trying to keep it whole and together in her chest; the witch was shocked to hear this.
This was the exact details of the legend of the Beast and the Beauty, the story of the saviors of the future warring world, the war between light creatures and the creatures which are called Nights.
She fairly remembered when she once read it in one of her books as she studied at the highest witchcraft schools across the worlds, and it shook her to her core. When she saw the words edged into the pages, a horrible case of dread twisted her insides because she had a bad feeling that the heroin seemed familiar, haunting familiar:
The legend stated that a girl would die, ending a rule in its tracks for many years, from the hatred from her own mother. And it also stated that her true love would survive, but only by giving up his looks and living as a beast can he be around for her when she reawakens. But they both will be reborn more powerful than they ever would be and they would save the magical world with help of true love.
But a spell will be the cause of the girl's rebirth and the transformation of the hero of the legend and the spell would be from a witch, specially a memory and healing witch; the only witch who has those powers in the southern parts of Da Fae was Amelie. So, she was the reason that her friend would be taken from her loved ones and the magical worlds.
Although Rosabella was going to be the heroin in the future to lead the kingdoms to freedom from the Evil Queen, to a better future for all the species in the magical world, it was for a heavy price and Amelie was going to bear that responsible on her own. But the blue-haired woman knew that it had to be done:
So, with a heavy heart, she stood slowly as she told the group what she knew, wincing when they gasped loudly and walked to a shelf holding thousands of bottles of many potions. As she kept her head lowered to keep her tears hidden, and wrapped her graceful fingers around a bright red bottle before sadly making her way toward the sound of Maria's weeping.
Why me, why did you have to come to me? She asked bitterly in her mind as she sat down next to Adnet, causing the man to look at her with fierce determination shining in his amber eyes:
"Baby, are you sure you want to forget the pain? If you do, you might have to wait a long time for her." Amelie whispered sweetly, caressing his cheek. Oh Goddess, please say no, she silently plead with Adnet to no avail. He caressed Willa's cheek as he said this, not even looking at his aunt, just staring lovingly down at her peaceful face.
"I will do anything to be with my rose, and if this is the only way to do that, then I will do this, we all will. Right guys?" Adnet looked over to his friends, who were smiling slightly.
"She is our best friend too, we will be there when she reawakens as well." Alec whispered loudly, comforting Maria with gentle touches.
"Yes, no matter what she remembers, we will be there to help her. I don't care what I am going to become."
That made her weep, hugging them all before handing the man the bottle.
"Then drink this and you'll all change. I just hope you won't regret this."
"Don't worry, we won't." And with that, the blonde dipped the bottle to his lips and sipped the bitter liquid down to half empty, not realizing what he really had done. After a few more sips, the man fell to his knees as his body started to shiver with pain and fear while the other two screamed as the light glowed brightly around them.
Willa watched as Amelie sighed deeply in sorrow, wiping her eyes before she helped Adnet after his change, her own tears falling from her cheeks and her hand over mouth. Rosa hugged her closer as she whispered sweetly and softly to the weeping beauty all the way.
"Don't cry, sweetie. You'll be okay soon, sweet girl, and soon you will be home again."
After that, she grabbed the younger beautiful ginger's hand, touching her palm gently, and then sending her into the falling motion. Into the real world and back to her new family, Rosa smiled.
She had done her job, helping the younger woman through the remembering progress, but now she is free to move onto the heavenly place so she walked backward, fading into the darkness, as she whispered softly:
"Good luck, my sister, you will make him very happy. Just be yourself and trust yourself because you are amazing, sweet girl."

She wiggled deeply as the sunlight poured into her large room, blinding Willa as she opened her eyes ever-so-slowly, slowly waking back to the real world once more.
It was too much for the ginger, but it made her feel like she belonged somewhere for the first time in her life. She smiled at the thought as she moved to the headboard, waiting for Anna to come. But she was surprised when her hand brushed something soft and smooth, then she looked down at her pillow; she found the rose and gasped.
Tied with a snow white ribbon, like the black ribbon in The Phantom; had Adnet been here? Was he been watching over her, keeping sure she safe? She was so unsure that she was falling in love with him, but was he falling for the broken girl? She shook her head, smiling maddeningly, the feelings that were growing inside of her chest were so new to the ginger, after years of thinking that her disability would always stand in her way of a healthy love life:
In the month, September, on the 28th day, and the year of 1996, the beautiful ginger was born to her mother Annabella Sabrina Fed and her loving father Grant Adam Fed. Willa was the last of their three children and they both were overjoyed to have one last baby girl despite her being less than perfect, but her sisters made it seemed like she was a mistake.
Willa always knew they hated her because of her disability, it was plain to see. Although her parents didn't mind her disability, the older girls made it painfully clear to their baby sister that they indeed did mind the Schzencephaly and they hated her for it. Hated the fact that they needed to help her with everything along with their parents.
So, yes, she knew that she was no normal teenager, she always was reminded that she was born with a curse called Schizencephaly; a condition when you're missing two pieces of your brain which helps you speak clearly and walk, and this has made her the older women's target for their rage; they broke her down and laughed away while doing so.
For half of her life, the ginger lied to all her teachers, trainers, and even to her parents, only to protect them from their family falling apart. So, she was alone and locked away from the world. Thinking she was unworthy for anything but a life of a slave to her sisters, hating their teasing smiles and their evil laughs, but she couldn't do anything about it.
Now, however, she was a part of a beautiful world as something more than she ever thought she could be. She smiled as she smelled the rose, ready to finally be herself.
