She felt it before she saw it. The cold and soft feel of the snow, reminding Willa of the first scene she ever saw while remembering her life as Rosabella, but now she was filled with dread as the wind danced across her skin. And then the bitter wind carried a pained howl, snapping her into awareness with a gasp. She had a feeling that the ginger knew who the howl came from but she couldn't make her mind connect to an image, she didn't want to believe it was him: "Hello!? Is someone there?" The ginger shouted over the howling wind, searching for the person who was still screaming and howl in pain, but only a bodiless voice called out to her. It was eerily familiar, it chilled her to the bone: "Why did you leave me, Willa? I needed you! I love you. Please, come home to me. Please love me, my rose…." The ginger gasped deeply as she titled her head a little, trying to find the direction his voice was coming from before spinning to the right and running to a foundation. She stared at the beautiful sight for a moment before she heard a groan close to her right side and she ran to where Adnet was laying, shivering maddingly in pain, making the ginger wince at the sight as she tried to shield herself from it by covering her eyes. But it was useless, the howls haunted her and the sounds made her look, tears springing to her eyes. She cried out, dropping to her knees next to him, touching his cheek as tears rolled down the apples of her cheeks. No, the ginger screamed in her mind while she repeatedly shook her head in agony. God, please, no! She sobbed endlessly as she held him to her body, rocking him comfortingly. "I didn't want to leave, Adnet! I begged you to let me stay, but you made me go. You made me go! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Willa yelled, burying her face into his chest, tears falling like tiny streams now. She wanted to wake up from this nightmare because it had to be a horrible nightmare. But, no how much she tried, Adnet's howls swirled around her, like a bad song on repeat. She couldn't escape them, it was torture. She wondered if she made a horrible mistake: Then, she felt the fur of Adnet's chest disappeared from underneath her, crashing her to the cold ground with a grunt. Willa stumbled into a sitting position, her eyes searching for her beloved beast, but they were only met with pure darkness. The ginger shouted to him, to only be surrounded by cruel laughter and whispers mocking her as she spun around fast, screaming. "Who are you? Where is Adnet?! What did you do with him?!" Her questions were answered by another round of laughter, followed by loud whispers. One after one, they crushed the beauty under the mocking words. "Why do you care? You are the one that left him behind. You were scared of him, just admit it and you feel better." "You could never love an ugly beast like Adnet. Admit it!" "Admit it! You were pretending the kindness you showed him!" "NO! You are wrong!" The ginger growled deeply, standing straight, staring into the darkness. She was done letting others speak for her. They didn't know her nor did they know how she felt about the amber-eyed beast. She will not let them downplay her feelings never again! It's high time she takes her strength back! "He is everything to me! I did not pretend anything I feel towards him. Everything I said or did with him was me! How dare you say I didn't want to be with him or that I won't love him! He is all I am able to think about. I love him!" Her scream echoed off of the dark walls, shattering the laughter into simple silence. The mocking laughter and words disappeared, slowly fading as Beauty continued to shake with anger: She panted, a fist placed over her heart, trying to calm its wild beating as her eyes beheld the darkness bled into a new dream or nightmare. The young ginger breathed out a sigh, bracing herself for whatever was to come as she felt the wind brush against her cheeks, her feeling weightless while she fell into the new scene. -.-.-.-.-.- Familiar floral smells met her nose before anything else, making the ginger smile softly. She thought she knew where she was, but when she opened her eyes, she realized that she wasn't in her garden. It was a garden out of Da Fae, the fairies' home. The girl was in a private garden, sitting on the greenest grass she ever have seen and the most beautiful odd-looking trees surrounded her. Her gray eyes widened at the sight, wondering why she was in such a beautiful place just as a joyous squeal rang out. She moved to see where the squeal came from. And what she saw made her jaw dropped to the grassy ground and her hand flew to her mouth: She watched as the ginger girl, the teen looked just her but slightly older, wheeled fast across the lawn with a wide grin placed onto her lips. After a second that woman entered the garden, a laughing light-haired young man ran in and after the giggling girl. She realized him as her Adnet, his boyish grin was imprinted into her mind. She gasped and watched as the scene unfolded: "I'm going to get you, silly kitten! You cannot escape your fate! You will be mine!" Adnet yelled teasingly as the girl giggled louder while she saw her teaser wiggled his fingers at her, going faster. "I can try, you evil wolf! You'll have to catch me!" She yelled back just as teasing, sticking her tongue out over her shoulder as if the pretty ginger wanted him to catch her and keep taunting him is the sure-fire way to get him fired up, to end up in his strong arms. Where she always belonged. And soon enough, he did catch her and the blonde man lifted her from her wheelchair, pinning to the grassy ground, and then the tickle attack began. Willa stared wide-eyed as she watched the pair played, for she realized that the unnamed ginger was indeed herself, but only a few years older than she was now. She leaned closer, wanting to see how the scene would soon end. Soon the giggles faded into a tense silence and the other girl met her friend's eyes, biting her lip nervously: "Are you sure it's over now, for us I mean, wolfie? I'm not sure I'll be able to handle another battle like that." "Why not, lovely rose? You are strong now and you can fight like hell. You'll be fine if you're worried that you are not prepared for a future battle." Adnet smiled reassuringly, c*****g his head to the side. But the girl just shook her head sadly in response: "No, I just don't want to say goodbye to you after I was away from you for so many long years. I don't want to forget you and go back to the way I was." She looked away, frowning hard but the expression on the male's face was that of soft joy at her whispered words: "Oh Willa, you mean everything to me and every day with you was a miracle. I know that it might've been hard on you to forget this life and disappear from this life to go back to where you started, but I know you will do what you have to, sweetie, to protect your home. You are strong and you will not be alone, I and your friends never will stop searching for you. Keep that in mind next time you are doubting your own strength. I'm sure we will meet again if we have to sacrifice ourselves for our people." He soothed her, stroking her red-gold hair as his amber eyes stared into hers. After hearing those sweet, tender words, both girls were overwhelmed with a sense of safety and relief. But, the ginger couldn't find the reason Adnet said that, and then worry soon settled into her. However, she somehow knew that the words rang true and they would find a way to each other. They would meet again, whatever the hidden problem was. They always were to be meant to be together, and even when they are going through something horrible, they will find a way. As the thoughts ran through her mind, she didn't notice the building light beginning to swallow her body, until it began to lift her off the ground. A startled scream escaped from her mouth as her hands flew to her eyes to protect them from the burning of the light, and soon, the light swallowed her completely. Taking to her last stop before waking up in the waking world… -.-.-.-.-.- When the light died down, she lowered her hands to her sides, feeling out of breath. Where it seemed like her breath returned to her, she opened her eyes to the black room once more. She grunted as the ginger stood, moving to the familiar mirror with a tired smile. She was so confused, but also so excited: "Hello sister, as always, you kept me waiting quite a long time." The kindly ginger said in a soothing tone, her hand reaching to the glass as if she wanted to caress her cheek through the cool glass. Although she was happy to see Rosa, she thought the last memory was the final time she would see the other ginger. How was this possible? "Rosa? I don't understand, why did I have to have those dreams? And….how in the heck are you here? I thought you were gone…." This earned her a giggle from the taller girl and a shake of Rosa's head. "Don't worry about figuring this out, it doesn't matter right now. Just go to Adnet now, he needs you now. And remember, I will always be with you, you are never alone anymore. Now go, he is waiting for you." Rosa raised her hand to touch the cool glass, smiling sweetly, her head urged her to meet hers. Willa wanted to ask more questions, but the ginger knew that the other young woman would not answer them. She would want her to find the answers on her own. So, with one more breath, she raised her hand to meet hers: And as soon as the girl did, the mirror and darkness melted away, causing the ginger to fall, screams echoed around her fading form… -.-.-.-.-.- Oh, my head….was the first thing that she thought as her eyes slowly opened, her body awaking to the world again, but they just closed again because of the harsh lights of the sun and the room. After a few minutes of letting her eyes adjust, she opened them to the world and sat up against the headboard, looking at the ring as she reflected on what she saw, pondering what to do next. But, somewhere inside of her, something whispered she knew that she had the answer already. Willa smiled bitterly, moving her eyes to the window, thinking it wasn't good timing to be selfish. With her father sick, she didn't want to leave him, but as three days passed, he was getting better by the hour. He was getting back to his old self and now he was urging her to go back to Adnet, to go back to where she is needed: "I am better, Beauty. I think it's time you went home, I have a feeling he is waiting for and needing you. You don't belong here anymore, you belong with him now." He told her the night before, smiling sweetly as he caressed her cheek, making her want to twist the ring right then. But her love for her father stopped her and she merely smiled in reply, shaking her head. But, in this morning's light, her heart screeched at her to heed her father's words. She breathed a sigh as she moved the covers off her and placed herself into her chair, her responsible side and her selfish side were at war while she crept into her father's room. She needed to see him, only to clear her mind and to make a decision. She smiled softly, reaching for his hand, bringing it to her lips. Then, the ginger sighed, her eyes swirling with indecision. She knew Grant won't hold it against her, he would even smile because she followed her heart, but Willa spent her entire life trying to make her family whole and happy; so why should she stop now? And all for a man? Was it really alright to be that selfish? Willa shook her head as she went to the window, scowling deeply at her wild thoughts and inability to make a decision, rubbing her head. She wanted to be with him, but does that mean she was going to sacrifice her relationship with her father to do so? But as soon as she looked back at the sleeping figure of her dear father, she smiled widely, knowing the answers to all of her questions. No, it was okay for her to want to be with Adnet, for she knew Grant was waiting for the day when his youngest would be selfish for once in her life. And that day has come. With that last thought, she moved to his desk and begun to write him and her friends a note. After she was done, she laid the note upon the nightstand and leaned over for a final kiss to his forehead before entering the moonlit yard, staring at her childhood home for the last time for she didn't know how long: Willa used to hate the house, it held so many bad memories for her. But now, she saw it as a place of strength and the ginger was thankful to it for making her stronger and unafraid of the unknown. With a shake of her head to free herself from the thoughts, Willa's fingers turned her ring around, closing her eyes as the light begun to swallow her. A small smile graced her lips as she disappeared from the small town she once despised for good: From a window, the blonde watched her fade from view, smiling softly, as she sent a prayer to above before she let the curtain fall back into place, whispering these final words as she moved back into bed. "From a rose, the true fairy tale is reawakened…" -.-.-.-.-.- As soon as the wind quieted and stopped dancing against her skin, Willa opened her eyes to see the castle's garden was covered with ten inches of snow: She gasped loudly at the sight, hands over her mouth as her eyes searched over the scene, wanting the dream to be just a terrible nightmare. But soon, the ginger realized that it is more than something you can awake from. For, a bone-chilling howl reached the inky sky, startling her to the right with her gray eyes wide. She screamed in horror, rushing to the sound. What she had found caused hot, stinging tears to fall. "No, no. Adnet!" Willa cried, falling to the ground, burying her face into his chest as the tears soaked the silk of his shirt. Her hands were grasping onto him in fear, not knowing if her beloved would disappear as soon as she would let go. His body laid a couple feet away from a rose bush, as if he was trying to escape the pain of her absent by being by her favorite things. But, as she knew from experience, pain could find you anywhere. She cried even harder while that thought and others invaded her mind at a rushing pace, breaking her heart into a million tiny pieces. She was too far in the pain that she didn't notice the claw creeping underneath her chin until her eyes met glowing smiling ambers: "Willa, I'm so glad I got to see you one more time. Please, smile for me one more time." Adnet coked out, a tiny smile managed to dance across his muscle. However, the ginger wasn't in a smiling mood and it enraged her that he was giving up so easily. "No! No! Don't you dare do this to me, you jerk!" She screamed at him, growling deeply in her throat while she started to beat his chest furiously as tears fell. In that moment, she was so furious that she didn't care she might've hurt him, she just wanted him to fight to stay with her. "Willa…" Adnet whispered surprised, his eyes widened in shocked as his hands came up to steady her, not wanting her to fall and be unable to get up. "You cannot just leave me when I just found you again! I've been searching my entire life for you! You won't leave me! Jerk, do you have any idea of how long I waited for you? I am not going to let you go. I need you and I am not going to live without you again!" The ginger growled, lifting her eyes to his while the tears just kept falling down her fiery red cheek. Adnet looked at that expression with such a sadness, biting his lip to keep his calm. He wanted to protect her like a warrior without any worries, without any problems to face. But, he knew that they were too late to fix this. He was fading fast, he could feel his body getting weaker, and he wanted to spend the last moments he had seeing his flower smiling. Not angry with him: So, with one gentler smile, he tucked a wild curl back behind her ear, sliding a claw along her jawline as he soothed her with these words, whispering as he slipped under. "Rose, I won't leave you. I will always be with you, but we are out of time, rose, you need to understand—" "Understand? Understand? No way in hell I will! You took my heart, Adnet! You cannot die on me just when I remember what we are!" She sighed deeply, wiping her eyes and moved her eyes to her lap before continuing, not noticing the shocked expression dancing across his face: "Look, Adnet, I need to say this now before I lose you, and please forgive me for not saying anything to you before. I was broken when I came here and I didn't know how long I was going take to be repaired. But you could break my walls down with one mere smile, your voice can light up my day and make me feel like I could do anything if I only wished to do so. That is rare for me, and to lose that, it would ruin me. So, I want you to be the only one to fix me, to heal me, and to make me into I need to be. If you are with me, I'm not going to run from that world and this life, my prince. I'll be stronger with you at my side. What I'm trying to say is I'm Rosa. So, with you by my side, I can be the princess I was once more. You keep me steady, sweetie. You are the only one that can heal me, Adnet. Don't you see that? I need you. Don't you dare die on—" That was the last straw for the beast, he could not fight against her any further. He wondered why he even tried to as he moved towards her sinful looking lips, ignoring the pain as he leaned up. And so, she was silenced by his lips upon hers, it was just a peck but it worked: "Stop talking." Adnet whispered against her luscious lips before devouring them in a hungry kiss, enjoying the feel of her lips against his. The kiss lasted for what seemed like hours but neither one of them cared, the kiss seemed as if it was powerful magic and they couldn't break the spell. But, the kiss sparked something inside the beast, sending a blinding light into the night sky. Everyone in the castle was glued to the windows, their mouths agape as sparks fell down like an enchanting rain upon the young couple, holding their breath while their hope came alive again. However, the couple didn't notice anything around them. They were too lost in the magical kiss to notice the fiery rain: As the sparks fell around them, sending magical patterns flying everywhere, the couple became entangled in each other: Willa's hands buried themselves in his now messed-up head fur and the taller man pinned her to him, unable to let her go, but alas fairy tale creatures needed air too. They pulled away only a few inches away from the other person with a wide smile their faces. He brushed the fiery curls from her eye, pulling her closer to his chest as he traced her jawline with soft kisses up right next to her ear: "I love you, Willa. And, I need you too. So I'm done fighting against you anymore, it's too hard. I'm not going away anywhere. I'll fight to stay with you. I'm staying with you until you are whole again and happy, no, far longer than that. I love you, my rose. I'll protect you, my Beauty. I don't care how hard it'll be to fight this, I'm staying alive for you. You are worth the risk, you are mine. You are perfect. I'm only asking you one thing, to be my mate—" Adnet was cut off by her lips crashing upon his once more, her hand came behind his neck, holding him in place. He didn't respond for a few minutes, for the beast was too shocked at that moment. But the shock passed very quickly and his arms snaked around her waist, crushing her body to his, still not wanting to let her go. They stayed like this for what seemed like hours then she pulled away leaning her forehead against the beast's feverish one with a pleased smile placed on their lips, loving the feel of each other's lips on their own. Silence stretched over them, as if Willa wanted to memorize this moment and burn it into her mind. Watching her with loving eyes, he caressed her cheek, letting her think until she opened her eyes. After a moment of thinking, he met her eyes, then, the ginger broke the silence finally with the words he has waited so long for: "I was always yours, Adnet. I just didn't know at the moment. I love you too." With that simple confession, an eerily warm wind crept across their skin, making their heads snapped up, finally noticing the sparks as they moved with the wind. The wind flew to the shocked beast. Soon the wind became faster and faster until it picked up the mountain lion/wolf-like beast and twisted its way around his body, dropping the beauty to the grassy ground with her gray eyes widen in fear and amazement as she watched while the sparkling swirl swallowed her beast's body, she could only hear his howls: "Adnet!" Willa screamed, reaching her hands up to the sky, wishing she could reach him but the young woman couldn't touch him. She could just watched as the wind danced around him. After what seemed like forever, the young man's body slowly lowered to the ground, his chest heaving hard as he tried to move into a sitting position, only to fall back to the grassy ground. She gasped, her hair falling over her shoulders in waves as she crawled to him and when he was in reach; she comforted him and the ginger turned the man's body to the sky; only for her jaw to drop to her chest at the sight of his wolf-like-free facial features. The spell was…. "My prince, you are…." "What sweet rose?" He cracked out, still being sweet in such a position. She touched his soft cheek, smiling amazed at how it felt. Adnet sighed in content, not really noticing the feeling of his body has become normal again. However as the beautiful ginger smiled softly, her hand lifted his to her now warm and soft cheek, cluing him into what has happened and a loud gasp escaped his lips. Oh, the spell is broken, Adnet thought in awe as he lifted his hand to his eyes, barely hearing Willa's whisper: "You are an elf again….the spell is…" "Oh my goddess, it's true. It's really you, you came back to us. You are my true love, Willa. The spell is broken because of you." Adnet whispered lovingly, caressing her cheek as a smile danced across his lips. She leaned her head into his palm, staring deeply into his eyes: "So, you are free now….?" "Yes, my love." Then, she laughed loudly before she jumped onto him, hugging tightly to her as the voices of their friends rushing towards in happy tones. They were so happy to be together and to be free, that they didn't sense the sensation of being watched from afar….. -.-.-.-.-.-.- The older ginger growled deeply in her throat, staring at the mirror again with a harsh scowl on her face. How do they always foil her plans? Calla growled in her mind, her scowl deepening as she watched the giddy couple rejoined. The beast had broken the curse with the beautiful girl's love! Calla was sure that the good ginger would stay with her father, but no! She had to be selfish! She growled at the thought as she narrowed her eyes at the scene. She lost this round to that stupid couple, but the war is not over. Not in the least, she thought as she slammed a fist against the desk while growling deeply in her throat. She will give Isabella her throne back even if it would kill her, it will happen! After a few moments, the ginger stood straight as she waved her hand across the glass, making the happy couple disappeared; Calla has a plan and the plan will lead her to what she desired most: her baby's happiness. Even if she couldn't see it yet. She grinned evilly before yelling for one of the pretty were females that were under her rule, Lilia Sest. She ran in the throne room, her black braid hung over her shoulder and her slender form was hugged by a simple pink dress that revealed her stomach. Lilia bowed to her queen, her honey-like voice filled the room: "Yes, your highness?" Lilia asked sweetly, she turned to the other female with a stern glint in her green eyes. "My sweet, I need you to the human world and worm your way into their group to gain the ginger princess's trust. Once you do, you are to bring her to me, understand?" Calla asked, caressing her cheek almost motherly, being sweet to get what she want: Lilia stared at the beautiful woman with confusion, unsure why the ginger wanted the fairy princess when she hated her so much she ordered her subjects to not even mention her name. But she knew that if you argue with the queen, the punishment would be deadly. Still, her curiosity got the best of her and she had to ask. "But your grace, you said that girl is—" "I know what I said, sweetie. But plans changed, that girl is the key to what I want and I need her here to lure Adnet where I need him. And that is why I need you, she will most surely trust you. Now, be a good girl and do what I ask of you, Lilia." She dragged her claw-like nails across the were's cheek, as if it was a warning to behave or the punishment would worse than ever. The female squeaked in surprise while she gulped hard, wide-eyed staring at her queen, but she knew what that would mean for her race….. …..They could take over the magical world, once and for all. "Yes, your highness, whatever you want." She obeyed, shaking like a leaf. "Good girl. Now, this is how you are going to earn her trust. I want you to befriend her and when her walls are down, bring her home. Understand? And remember, I can see everything you do, so behave, Lilia. You belong to me and you will do everything I tell you to." The ginger told her firmly, slapping her across her cheeks, earning a loud cry from the were pretty girl. "Y-yes, your grace, I'm sorry." "Good, now go. A house and your adoptive parents will be ready for you tomorrow, I'll call the school to enroll you." She nodded slowly, bowing to her before running out of the room. Calla grinned wide as she turned to the window, the plan going through her mind, making her giddy just thinking about it. I will teach you a lesson you will never forget, Rosa! She thought with an evil laugh.
