Chapter 31 QUIETLY LISTENING BEHIND THE DOORThe four looked at each other, "Really? Did you ask your mom where she got it and why she is wearing it?" Alex asked with curiosity on his face. There's a little hope in his heart that he could talk to Diane sooner than he expected.
"U-uhmm… Yes, I asked her. She said to me that when she woke up from a deep sleep, she's already wearing that ring and at the same time she found out that she's already pregnant."
The three elders have an idea even though Alex isn't saying anything yet.
Diane was looking around for her children. When she left, the kids were eating at their table earlier but now they are gone.
She has been busy talking to the guests who attended her brother's wedding and it took her a long time to come back to the table.
