Chapter four.

When I reached at the office , I tried to hide myself so that the workers could not see me since they were undoubtedly hunting me down. I walked through the double doors as I ducked to the stairwell so that I could call my receptionist without anyone seeing me .
"Hello"
"Hey Ange, you think you could keep everyone away for some hours ,I just want to be alone and get some rest as I get some things situated."
"Ugh,"she said as she laughed awkwardly.
"Come on, if you can find a way go for an early lunch. I was up all night and am really tired . I had alot on my plate really."
"Two lunches and it's a deal."
"Is it that bad?"
"I got sixty two messages for you in the past hour"
"Jesus" I said as I leaned my head over the wall, You know my priorities, move everything for me and give me at least an hour , I really need to relax for a bit."
"And go get us something,coffee and donuts, or whatever. Use your company card and get yourself something too."
"Thank you sir, I could hear her smiling throught the phone."
"You are welcome, my dear , I hung up the call and started walking up the stairs to the office . I wanted to have my own personal elevator and stairs so that anyone wouldn't see me as I was walking towards my office. But the building was leased, there was nothing I could do about it really , though I really wanted to but you can't always have what you want now can you ?.
Fortunately, it was a good sight to see that Angela had cleared out the reception area .That was progress ."Hello" I said as I entered and greeted her with a smile ,she was on the phone with someone ."I'd be more than willing to take the message for you ." she paused to listen and handed me a folder with my messages inside it . "No am sorry but he is not around, you just going to have to call him later then I'm sorry.
I walked to my office .There were matters that needed my attention and I was clearly running late .I needed to have a clear mind if I was going to manage the company and that couldn't happen with my phone ringing every two seconds.I took some time over the computer to go over my messages, slowly glancing at the news ever so evident .I had a couple of messages and all of them wanted to be called back immediately, all of them were quite important but some were more important than others and they needed more attention and Frankly some were more easier to talk to. so I went through the list in my own way, calling the one who would give me the least stress first. There was a knock on the door when I was on a call with the head of maintenance department, "I'll call you right back."I hung up the call . " come in."
It was Angela carrying two bags with goodies and a coffee holder that had steam flowing off the top. "Here ya go " she handed me one of the bags with a smile. "Thanks,I really needed this ." Somebody from the testing department is here , "I looked over her shoulder to see Moses sitting at the lobby smiling at me ."send him in ."
"You can come in now,"Angela said going back to her desk at the lobby.
"How are ya"I asked when he got in.
"Good,good . Got a new optical display . Moses took a seat .
"The Hawkeye?"
"Yap, gonna go down and hook it up to Bessie this afternoon. You should come down and see it too .
"God, "I leaned over my seat ."iam too tired I tell you , I can't even think staight.I feel like I am going to die."
"I think you are stressing yourself too much. I mean you don't have to micromanage everything that happens in the company . Yes you are the CEO but you don't have to do everything in the company. That why you have workers working under you ."
"Yeah I know,but I am a perfectionist I need to make sure that everything goes well . I have to micromanage everything I think it's a coping mechanism I have or something. I don't know ."
"Let me as you something,"
"Yeah go ahead."
"When was the last time you got laid, like when was the last time you had someone over you , or under you making you feel amazing , huh. Don't you think that that is one of the reasons why you are so uptight sometimes, huh."
"I don't need a woman in my life right now , I am quite okay with the stressful life that I have already, I don't want to add to my misery by having a nagging woman on my case , everytime."
"You need to let lose my man , you really are so uptight and thats one of the reasons why you so stressed sometimes."He said as he looked me in the eye , he was clearly trying to hide the laughter that I was seeing trying to creap through his face .
We both burst out into laughter.
"you don't say"
"Okay , forget about being in a relationship, have a woman for some fun , let lose a little. we ain't getting any younger , remember. Iam sure you haven't been laid in a while . come with me to the club , tonight and let lose a little. well you ain't going to look for a wifey but at least am sure you going to get laid .
"it's been a while so I guess I'll go."
"Nice "
Moses woke up "I'll send you the feed on the optical display."
"Can you send me some of the optical specs too."
"Course man , I'll catch up with you later "
When Moses left I looked at my contact list. There were fifteen new other people I had to talk to , and that was only in the morning. I had no idea how I was going to get through the day but at least I had the nightclub and the inevitable hook up to look up to.
