Chapter thirteen

On their date,Archer king took Maya to an excuisite Korean restaurant tucked between a hair salon and a drug store.Smoky scents of meat and ban Chan-side dishes-rose hot and heavy in the air.If Maya closed her eyes and inhaled the fumes,she could imagine her parents restaurant in Korea town back in midtown Manhattan.Her mother would be manning the kitchen ferociously,punctuating each barked statement with crack of her ladle.
