Maybe he wouldn't see her. Maybe he would think she'd run toward the stairs..

''Iknow you're here, Anna ''

Three things sent her mental alarms clanging .He knew her name .He also spoke in a tone of voice adults reserved for unruly children and the insane .And he sounded like ....no.

His footsteps warned her that he had walked further into the kitchen .His movements were slow, deliberate .Then his presence loomed before her, his boot making contact with her bare toes .

''Oh my God , you and your big bear feet.''

''You love my bear feet .''

''Loved. past tense. Like us ''She found herself pinned between the counter and James muscular body . I decided to seize the moment to vivt her at the maternity center.

However ,I got there and met an amfrican American woman ,who semed to be one of the guardians of the maternity center.

I informed her of the person I wanted to see.Thus, she took me inside the maternity center and directed me to a room that has the number 4 inscribed on the door.

I looked at the other doors and realized that they were all numbered.

I pushed the door a bit o open .Hence, it got opened I entered and see Theresa sitting down whilst she leaned her back to the wall.

She lowered her head and sob.

She doesn’t notice my presence.

I looked around and realized that nobody was with her.

I rushed to her and stood beside the bed she was sitting on.

‘’Theresa’’ I called her name.

She raised her head and got startled as she saw me.

She couldn’t believe I would come for her , even though ,she had been avoiding me for so long .

‘’Whats wrong with you’’ I asked her.

She snuffs and adjusted herself on the bed.

I sat beside her and used my hand to wipe off her tears.

‘’You are not in the best condition to cry. Everything happened for some reason ,you just have to knw this.

Embrace yourself, and makes things right for yourself ‘’ I motivated her.

She looked into my eyes and hugged me so tight.

I know she doesn’t believe that I could try to make things right with her.

After some moments ,she disengaged herself from the hug and lit her face with a smile.

I found solace in her smile .Its been a while with the smile .
