I would say I told you so but you're not in that part of the story yet. Don't worry you'll be there soon enough. I can't believe all this happened, and I wish I wasn't the 'special' zombie. I wish life could go back to at least half normal after they find a cure. s**t is definitely going to hit the fan though like I said you're not there yet.

Anyway, I was confused as to why I went, and why nothing had happened to me yet. Also why I had to take 6 tests in two weeks. I hated some of the tests. (You'll see why) I don't give spoilers, absolutely not that type of person. Why did someone have to spike the food AND the drinks? I bet they didn't expect people to survive or someone like me to exist even though they don't know about me yet. I wish I could take back going that day. I know I know we're going to get back to the story, but honestly what the hell?

*STILL Four months earlier*

It takes some days to get there, and honestly, the room was better than I thought. First I went to take a shower because I haven't taken one since we had left. After I get dressed I head to the room where they take the tests. When I get there I was greeted by this nurse Ms. Quinn.

" You can come with me. I'll start the tests until Dr.Snow gets here. He'll be your personal doctor because of your situation," she stated.

After Ms. Quinn said that I sat down and she started doing some I guess normal tests. For example, blood tests, checking my heart rate/blood pressure, and some type of brain scan. They're more annoying than I thought, but I've always hated getting blood drawn and that weird compression thing. (heart rate/ blood pressure) She took so much blood maybe I should have ate more in the morning. Three out of six tests are done though so that's great. Anyways afterwards Ms.Quinn left because she said Dr.Snow is coming. He knocked and then came right in. I can't believe who it is.

" Oh my wow it just had to be you, " I said, shocked.

" Well this is going to be fun isn't it Phoenix?" he said before laughing.

" No way you're my doctor, " I said.

" I am and you sadly were infected, but not the same as everyone else. Which is why I'm here. By the way, please don't call me Ace in front of the others, " Ace said.

" I won't Dr.Snow, " I replied mockingly.

" I'll comment on that later but for now let's focus on the tests. Your heartbeat is a little slow but not as bad as the others, your blood work came back fine, and your blood pressure seems okay for now. Are you hungry right now?" he stated.

" Great and yes I am, " I say.

" Eat this," Ace says while giving me some noodles with something else mixed in.

Thankfully I ate that because I needed some energy after she took all that blood.

" Can you taste everything? " Ace asks.

" Most of it, " I say.

" Hmm, have you noticed yourself getting paler or white strands of hair?, " Ace asks.

" Since the party, I have gotten a little paler but I don't have any white hair, " I reply.

" What's that strand of white hair right there then?, " he asks while pointing.

" Why did you ask if you saw it? It wasn't there this morning though, " I say, slightly annoyed.

I know you don't understand why I'm being like this right now but later you will.

" It's required of me to ask Phoenix, " he says.

" By whom? Aren't you the head doctor or something?, " I ask, slightly confused.

" Even though I am in charge of things I still have people I work with, and we came up with these questions. The fact that it wasn't there when you woke up means something and I need to write it down," he said.

" I guess Dr.Snow, " I said, mockingly again.

" Phoenix have I done something to offend you?, " he said, so f*****g softly.

" How can you just flip a switch and act so businessy to me? It's so weird and I honestly want one thing to be familiar. We both know how I am about change. I'll adapt but won't necessarily like it, " I said.

He sighs and then answers, " Phoenix I know this much change is weird but, it's a procedure for us to find out a cure and what exactly is causing this,"

" I guess you're right it's still weird though nonetheless. What other questions do you have to ask?, " I say.

" Ok, so pale, barely any white or silver-ish hair, blood's good, hasn't had horrible hunger, can taste food, have you scratched anyone?, " Ace said after scribbling something down on the paper.

I shook my head no.

" Do you mind telling me what exactly happened?, " Ace asked.

" I don't see that on the paper. Is that a question on there?, " I say with a little smirk.

" It is on here, " he says, staring at me weirdly.

" Oh, really where? " I say as I get up.

" Why does it have to be on the paper? I want to know, " he says.

" I thought we were being professional Dr.Snow?, " I said with a smirk.

" We're done with all the questions. Now what happened Phoenix?, " he says while staring at me with a blank face.

" Me and Scarlett went to Alvin Eclair's party like 2 days ago. Everything was going good until everyone started eating and drinking, " I said.

" You? Went to a party? I'm honestly surprised, " he said, raising an eyebrow.

He knows me too well.

" Yea well Scarlett didn't want to go by herself so, " I say.

" Ohh it makes sense now. What did you wear?, " he said.

" Dr.Snow we're supposed to be professional, " I say before laughing.

" That doesn't matter right now, " he said, smiling.

" I guess but anyway I wore a suit," I say.

" Oh, " Ace said while looking a little too surprised.

" I wear suits on the right occasions so yeah, " I say, folding my arms.

" Yea ok I guess, " he says before rolling his eyes.

I think he heard footsteps so he changed his tone.

" So that will be all for today but for the next week or two we will be monitoring your eating and sleeping habits. Especially since your case is different from everyone else's, " he says with a professional tone.

" Great it seems like I caught you at the right time Mrs.Manchester is here for you, " Ms.Quinn said.

" Ok tell her she can come down here, " he said.

He whispered for me to go ahead to my room so I left. I went to get a little food because I was hungry. My day other than that wasn't really eventful but that's because I was just trying to settle in. However, the next day was a little eventful.........
