Ruby stared at Lanson and Ketter, trying to make sense of what they were telling her.
“But you’re…men,” Ruby said.
“This is what a real wolfkin can do,” said Lanson.
“We can shift completely between man and wolf,” said Lanson. “But full wolfkin like us are becoming rare.”
She remembered the wild wolfkin at the menagerie that the Huntsman had shown her. If what they were telling her was true, he must have been a man in wolf form.

Ruby nodded. “I can tell you in detail how to find him on your own.”
“Can you tell us in detail how to get out of those infernal cages on our own?” asked Lanson.
