Ayoola's POV.
"Alright." I walked in front of the tunnel.
"Step there," She pointed at the sink. I stepped on it and used it to elevate myself off the ground.
"I'll follow right behind you." I heard Tumi say. I was in my fours, inside a tunnel. That's been my life for a long while. It was just me and the darkness for a long time. I stopped for a second, wondering how Adisa might feel being surrounded by the gloominess of her powers. I knew I couldn't deal with this darkness. I needed Adisa by my side. To tell me that I could do anything.
I heard a sound behind me and shivered.
"It's me. I just closed the tunnel." Tumi said behind me. I could hear her crawl after me. I started moving. I wondered when I would reach the end.
