September in the new world.
What a time to be alive.
The world was forever changed when the bombs dropped. The switches flipped and humans attacked themselves over petty reasons. The weapons of mass destruction launched from the planet and fell from space. The governments didn’t care about the outcome, only wanting to not be left behind.
Scientists ran test after test and scenario after scenario – all coming to the same conclusion; nuclear fallout would leave the world a radiation nightmare for hundreds of thousands of years.
We’d seen what had happened at Chernobyl and Hiroshima, but still the ones making the decisions let their anger get the best of them and they sentenced the world’s population without a second thought.
