The only thing I’m good at is passing the time. I never fill time with anything fun or productive, but I’m always coming up with new ways to make the minutes pass by as quickly as possible.
Sometimes I play games in my head, just silly little things like naming a grocery item for each letter of the alphabet or listing every person I’ve ever met. Other times, I concoct elaborate imaginary scenes where I go on zany adventures with my old school friends, or I get rescued by a family member (usually my dad or my brother – men are better at stuff like that).
Silly little things like that really burn away the hours. And on days when they don’t, I try to sleep as much as possible.
