Miracle
It wasn't the blinding light of the afternoon sun that shocked me; it's the fact that Niccolo and Arturo are already talking casually when I wake up. Mika, Marissa, and that woman, whom I recall is named Hillary, are also conversing at the other end of the room, while the rest are playing something.
What did I miss?
Everyone seems like they're already on good terms, as if they have settled everything.
I am silently observing them when Lyme suddenly glances in my direction. His face lights up as he quickly stands and goes to where I am lying.
"Hope is awake!" he announces, getting everyone's attention.
In the blink of an eye, Marissa is already by my side. She instantly takes my hand, checks my pulse before nodding her head.
"Blood circulation is getting better," she notes.
