I never expected Lexus's son to be born on the same date as Ember. The celebration paused briefly last night because of it, but eventually resumed. We only performed the customary birthday ritual and gave blessings to Ember. After that, we allowed the guests to eat and then they went home.
Later, Theron and I went to visit Savannah, just to make sure she's okay. It took her four hours in labor, but she was able to give birth to a healthy baby boy. By pack law, his son should have been born on Stormfang, but for some reason, Savannah gave birth here. It might only be the third recorded instance of a Luna giving birth outside the pack.
