Inside a wide room in a hospital, a young man is settled on the mattress while a white soft, thick blanket is covering his chest down to his toes.
The patient is surrounded by hospital equipment that is being used on him.
The door of the room starts to move forward releasing low creaking sounds, and a young man steps inward the room.
His eyes move upwards and it fixates upon the unconscious young man's mug. He opens his lip and inhales the cold air filling the entire room.
He walks toward the mattress and there he moves his eyes upward and witnesses the patient's monitor.
"B-Brother." the patient moved his lip.
Amoux begins to move his eyes and his eyes catch sight of Dryden's calm yet cold eyes staring at him.
Dryden shifts his attention to the tall window on the wall near the mattress. His eyes begin to narrow and he walks toward it.
He halts in front of the glass window and moves his hand towards the curtain; he untangles the curtain and covers the entire glass window.
"It's a shame that you are willing to use an establishment such as this hospital for your loathsome plans," Dryden closes his hands as he's slowly turning around, "if you want to face me then show yourself, wimp."
"Brother… there's no one else in this room except for both of us." Amoux began to open his eyes and moved them towards Dryden.
Dryden turns around once again and his eyes narrow at the brown window curtains. Hence he turns toward the patient and begins to walk toward him.
Dryden halts near Amoux, and the older brother moves his eyes from every medical equipment surrounding his young brother.
Dryden says, "I've heard what happened to you."
Amoux lifts his eyebrows and chuckles, and then Dryden looks aside with his narrowed eyes.
"Don't laugh at me like that," Dryden moves his lessening eyes toward Amoux, "I am being serious here, fool."
Amoux raises his other hand but a hand grabs his hand and pushes it down.
"Don't move," Dryden gently pushes his hand down to the mattress, "just recover your strength, and everything will be alright, Amoux."
Amoux's eyes begin to enlarge as he moves his from Dryden's head down to his toes.
"This is a rare phenomenon!" Amoux tells Dryden, "Dryden, a well-known cold-hearted CEO speaking some loving words! This is indeed a miracle!"
Dryden moves his head down and it begins to shake along with his clenching hands.
Amoux takes in a load of his saliva while staring at Dryden whose eyes are slowly moving toward him.
"I've had enough of this mockery," Dryden bends his head side to side, "how are your performance at the university?"
Amoux utters soft laughs while he remains to stare into Dryden's eyes. "I uh… I'm doing great."
"I see." Dryden inhaled deeply through his slightly opened lip.
Amoux moves his hand towards his lip and begins to cough, Dryden immediately moves his eyes to Amoux and he moves his hand from his lip and stops coughing.
Dryden raises his eyebrow at him. "What is it now, Amoux?"
Amoux raises his hand and holds his older brother's index finger, hence Dryden looks at his brother's hand and he stares into his younger brother's eyes.
"I can't imagine that I'm going to do this," the younger brother looks aside with a slight smile on his lip, "you have already shown us how great and responsible big brother you are."
Dryden remains staring into his younger brother's eyes. Fluid begins to crawl from Dryden's forehead down to his neck.
Amoux closes his eyes yet his gentle smile remains to exist. He opens his lip and utters words. "Don't focus on us for we can handle ourselves. I reckon that it's time for you to focus more on yourself, Dryden."
Dryden breathes and then he gulps. "I thought you were going to release words that will make my heart race, brother."
Amoux's eyes widen whilst Dryden is gently slapping Amoux's hand.
Dryden didn't smile but he was staring calmly at his brother's brown eyes. "Shut up."
"You know, Amoux?" Dryden stops tapping his hand, "I made a vow to our mother before he died. A vow that I will protect you and Dracon from any harm, but now, I am glad that I witnessed you and Dracon's growth.
"Yes, I will admit that I can't focus more on myself, but loving and protecting both of you was the greatest duty that I proudly received and fulfilled."
Amoux's eyes remain broadening while Dryden is holding his hand, and he moves Amoux's hand down to his chest.
Dryden slides his hands inside the pocket of his red coat and tells Amoux. "Just rest there and don't you ever be worried about my mental health.
"You can worry about me if you get better. For now, rest, my i***t brother."
Amoux continues to look at Dryden as Dryden is walking toward the door of the room. Dryden holds the doorknob; he twists the doorknob while pulling it.
Thence Dryden steps outside of the room while fluids are falling from Amoux's eyes which are glued at him.
Amoux looks away from his older brother, and then he looks at the ceiling. "I didn't know that he has a soft side."
Dryden is walking in the wide hallway of the hospital, hence he halts. He slides his hand inside the pocket of his coat; from his coat, he brings out a phone.
He taps its screen double times and puts it closer to his ear. "Hello?"
"D-Dryden, it's me Dracon," Dracon coughs, "I want to tell you that I enjoy this life–"
"Where are you?!" Dryden begins to fasten his movements, "tell me your location or anything around you that can be seen by anyone far or near your spot!"
Meanwhile, in an alleyway, a man is sitting on the ground. His back is resting on a wall with random writings, and his eyes are staring at a billboard of a man holding a woman.
His hand is pressing his abdomen which is soaked in red fluid oozing from the small hole in his abdomen.
"Women are a nuisance to the society of strong alpha males," he looks down and utters soft laughs, "what a senseless ideology. Men and women are both needed in society, but why am I saying this?"
"Brother Dryden," he looks up, "don't you dare catch up to me… I want to see Mama once again."
Fluid fills his eyes as it flows in a gentle stream down to his chin whilst his body is jerking.
