Melody POV
“Heat? What?” I know what that is, but it wasn’t supposed to be already happening.
“You do know what heat is, right?” I nod my head yes. “Melody, you realize you’re going into heat. You may have felt the first tingles, which felt like your body was overheating. Have you felt that?”
My cheeks grow red again. I never talked with anyone. I mean, I’m not stupid. I know what it is, and this conversation is starting to feel a whole lot like the birds and the bees talk. “Um, yes. I have been feeling this way, but it goes away after a while.”
