It was late morning by the time Lieutenant Harrison was ready to go. All claws had gone toward helping him prepare for his trip—when they weren’t occupied with the rapidly growing number of sick, of course. In the meantime he had done a quick round of the Guard quarters and wall posts, appointing temporary officers to run things in his absence.
