Chapter 25 Garrett’s heart was hammering in his chest, adrenaline pumping through him. He was supposed to be the master of words, arguing case upon case no matter how contentious without ever breaking a sweat. Yet, faced with Delia and actually saying his feelings aloud, he turned into a bundle of nerves and adrenaline.
