Garrett tossed his briefcase on his desk and put his hands on his hips, spinning in a slow circle in his office. He’d spent more time here than he had at his home—a rather sad reminder of his life. He’d spent a fortune on a high-rise apartment and all he ever did was sleep there. His office was pristine, which was not its usual state.
