“You Okay Baby?” Nate wraps his arm around me as we walk out the cafeteria.
“Yeah of course.” I smile up at him as he kisses me.
“My favorites.” Jamil hugs us as I laugh and catch a glimpse of Janet staring at us. Oh god, maybe they were right. “I am actually happy that you are back. This is what I’ve been missing.”
“Oh I’m sure it has been.” Nate smiles at him which warms my heart. Any form of happiness he shows towards Jamil makes me so happy.
“Yes I’ve missed my kids.” He winks as we walk to the tree. We sit down as I take out my sketchbook and tools and start the assignment that Mr.Wraith gave today.
