I like him. I like Nate. This is bad? I don’t know. He’s more of a flirt and I’m not sure he would want a relationship. Why am I thinking this. My ex just man handled me and Nate saves me, like the Superman that he is. I totally forgot that I was suppose to go to the girls and I made sure that Nate dropped me off at Erin's. I shake the thought putting on the romper that Jamil picked out. It was a dark blue romper and fit on my body rather snug. Erin comes behind me fixing my hair as I smile. “Why did mister handsome drop you off and not had us pick you up?” She ask as I shake my head softly. “Well.” I mumble as she comes around to face me. “Nate is someone I never thought would actually like another person ever again.” She says seriously. “I know we are besties but I don’t want Joe to be in the way between you and Nate.” “Why would you think that.” I ask her with a smirk as she shrugs. “It’s not ideal to give you a pep talk but it’s better I give it to you than Nate because I doubt he would acknowledge me.” She Jokes and I know she’s telling the truth. He definitely would ignore her. “Well, it’s up to him if he likes me back.” “Oh he definitely does.” — After we all get ready we head out into Tina’s car as she drives us to the game. We are leaving a little early so that I can stock up on some snacks. We park and get our tickets when we run into the guys right on time. “Hey guys.” “You girls look nice, except for you Alex I told you I disapprove.” Lucas points at me. “Thanks Luke.” Paige winks at him and he smiles at her as I internally gag, what was that.. “Are you getting snacks?” Jamil ask pulling me into him arms. “Yes.” I laugh as he leads me to the concession stand. “We will walk you guys to your seats so that you don’t get trampled. The other school isn’t as chill as ours.” Jamil explains as I nod. No wonder the boys were walking around. Usually from what I know before the game they should be in their locker room. Jamil and I stay in line talking among ourselves and I never realized he is honestly a cool person and a loyal friend. The only reason he was loyal is because he’s carrying my snacks for me. We made it to our seats where I see Nate standing with the other guys and He smiles when he sees me. “Hey.” He hugs me as I lay my head on his chest. “Are you Okay?” “Uh yeah I’m okay.” I smile up at him. Nate grabs my hand checking my arm to see a bruise slowly forming where Joe has grabbed me. “You sure it doesn’t hurt?” He ask poking at me as I nod. “Yeah I’m sure. it’ll probably start hurting tomorrow.” I shrug as he smiles softly. “Well Remember stay here.” Nate tells me as well as the girls as they nod obediently. “What if I have to pee?” I ask. “Wait till half time.” He says. “What if I get hungry again?” “Wait till half time.” I see him roll his eyes. “What if.” He cuts me off with a slight glare. “What did I just say.” “Fine. I’ll sit right here.” I tell him sitting down as he smiles pinching my cheek. “Thank you sweetheart.” He says before walking away. “You sure you guys have never kissed?” —- “Hey.” I turn to A sweaty Nate making me smile. “You’re really good out there.” I tell him as he raises an eyebrow. “I’m just really good?” He ask as I roll my eyes. “You’re great. You have a f*****g arm on you.” I tell him. They are literally 37-0. That’s crazy. How are you that f*****g good. “Thanks. You look great.” He smirks pulling me half way on his lap. “Thanks.” I feel a blush coming on as he starts to rub my thighs. “Are you going to let me use the bathroom or get extra food?” “Uh probably not.” He smirks down at me. “This is really comfortable and I don’t want you to leave.” “Oh wow, you really are with this chum.” I see a dark look settle on his face and his glare returns as I turn to a busted up nose Joe. I stifle a laugh as he glances down at me. “What’s funny?” “Wow, my chum of a boyfriend did a number on your nose.” I smirk as he takes a step close and Nate stands up blocking me away from Joe. “How about you leave. She doesn’t want you here and I sure as hell don’t want you here either.” Nate tells him, well more like growled. I see Lucas and Jamil walk up behind Joe as I see his stance crumple under all their flares as he glances down at me. “I hope you know this won’t last forever and the I told you so will be waiting for you back home.” He stalks off as I see Jamil slouch. “Jesus. I’m so tired of attempt fights. That was the second one today.” He whines making me laugh. “Well Nate punched him the first time and all you did was push him out the door.” I tell him as he glares at me. “Give me my shine back.” He tackles me on the bleachers as I feel the wind get knocked out of me. “Jesus. You’re heavy.” I laugh as he’s lifted off of me by yours truly. “Are you hurt.” He pushes Jamil away with worried eyes. “I’m okay, but half time is almost done.” I pout out as he sighs. “I’ll see you after the game.” ❧ “You like him don’t you?” Jamil lifts me from behind making me yelp. “Oh hey! You won the game.” I squeal thankfully avoiding his question. “I know, we always win the game.” He smirks then glares at me. “Why are you here and where are the girls?” “Well.” He puts me down and I pout knowing the boys will yell at me. “I had to pee.” “Oh who’s this?” I feel a hand Slide down on my back as Jamil pulls me closer to him and away from the unknown person. “Don’t touch her.” He states as I turn to 3 guys who were obviously on the other team. “Oh come on Jamil, let us have fun with your play thing.” The first guy smirks reaching out to me again and Jamil pushes me behind him. “How about you go back home.” Nate walks up out of nowhere as the guys smirk faultier. Wow I’d be scared too if a guy over 6’4 was glaring at me. “Well if it isn’t the golden boy. Wouldn’t want what happen to your dad his college senior year happen to you too.” The guy sneers as I see Nate physically tense up. “Keep my fathers name out of your f*****g mouth and there won’t be any f*****g problems.” I hear him respond as I feel myself get pushed back again and this time it was Reuben and Travis that was pushing me back and Lucas was holding me. “Shouldn’t you guys stop this?” I ask as Lucas shakes his head at me. “He hates this guy. His name is Jason and he’s a complete dickhead. There is no way we are getting in the middle of this.” He tells me as I nod. As I turn back I see the guy And Nate was fighting a Jamil was there being is support. I adore their relationship even when it’s just a helping hand in a fight. — “Jesus.” I put the ice pack against Nate as he smiles. “This is why I avoid fighting.” “You make it seem like you were the one in a fight.” He smirks. We sat in my bathroom as he was actually sitting On top of the toilet and I was squatting/ standing when I needed in front of him tending to his wounds. The crazy thing is this guy didn’t land a single punch on him. He literally didn’t have one bruise on his face nor body, and I made sure to check. “Well.” I stand up pulling his hand up with me. He smiles up at me, my face rather close to him. “Erm.” “Do I make you nervous?” He ask his other hand pulling me closer to him making me gasp. “Oh- Yeah.” I laugh as he shrugs. “Good.” He smiles before frowning. “Sorry for fighting in front of you.” “I-it’s Okay.” I mumble slapping his arm playfully. “Just don’t do it again.” “Oh yeah?” Nate pulls me to his lap as I let go of the ice bag letting it drop to the floor as I sit on his left side wrapping my arms around his neck. “Oh yeah.”
