Pancakes

1239 Words
“Guys we are going to be late.” I groan as they put a stack of five pancakes in front of me as well as Luke and Samuel . “How did this turn into an eating contest.” “Oh no we want to see this.” Reuben smirks as I roll my eyes. “You asked for it.” I start to pour syrup on my pancakes as they give me a look. “I can’t eat it dry.” “So the waiter will be coming by with more pancakes soon.” Jamil smiles as he sets a time. “Ready?... Go.” I start to scarf down the stack of pancakes as the boys do the same. From the jump Luke was in lead and I was a little behind of him. The waiter comes by with pancakes and I start on those as it hits the table. “Yes! Eat those pancakes.” Paige exclaims. I see her filming me on her phone, of course more evidence. “Send that to my brother.” I laugh as another stack sits in front of me. I groan looking at the dry pancakes instantly regretting the contest but I can’t stop now. “Luke is falling short of 10 and Jake is in the lead of 5.” Jamil announces as I start to chow down on my next five attempting to catch up with Samuel as I see him smirk at me for my attempting. ATTEMPT. Luke quit at 20 because he was full and I was heading on my 34 and I was starting to feel like I was dying. “I’m done.” I put my fork down smiling lazily. “And Samuel wins with...” Jamil exclaims. “45.” “Forty five.” I gasp letting out a burp before slumping down in my seat. “You Okay?” Luke ask smirking down at me. “Yeah, I think I’m going to take a mini nap.” I mumble closing my eyes. “No naps.” Jamil shakes me up as I feel as the pancakes were coming up. “Okay stop shaking me before I throw up on you.” I tell him as he let’s go of me and I slouch back down in my seat. “My baby.” Erin pats my belly softly. “Can we go to school now please? If not I’m going home to sleep.” I ask. “Yeah let’s go.” Samuel gets out of his seat and everyone follows suit. I lean into Jamil as he leads me to the car. “Pigging out and eating till full is two different things and I realize why I never did this again.” I tell everyone. “Well now that we have the memory of it, you will never have to do it again.” Tina smirks. “Oh no you have to do it at the fair.” Lucas smirks pinching my cheeks. “I guess you can now be my little sister.” We get into Samuel car as I slip my seat belt on. “You Okay?” Samuel puts his hand on my thigh smiling at me. “Yeah, are you used to eating like that?” I ask him as he smirks turning on the car. “Yeah. I don’t eat that big but it’s usually something like that.” He shrugs as we drive off to school. “Hey, I eat big too. I just didn’t want to over-shine on you guys.” Jamil interrupts as I turn to him smiling and I can see an angry look settle on Samuel face. “I don’t think we care.” Nate grumbles as I giggle like a little girl. Their banter made it seemed as if they were married for years. But that’s not the case. They’re two 18 year olds who spend almost every hour of the day together. We finally reach the school as I get out stretching my limbs. “Is that a tattoo?” I turn to Samuel who was lifting up my already cropped shirt next to my side as I swat his hand away from me. His fingers brushing on my naked body gave me the good kind of chills but I didn’t want him to know that. “You could say that.” I take my book bag swinging it over my shoulder so that he couldn’t access under my shirt Anymore. “I’ll see it sooner rather than later.” He smirks walking away leaving me with Jamil. “Ooooo seems like someone’s trying to get into my besties pants.” Jamil exclaims after Samuel as he wraps his arms around me as we walk up to the school. “I know it’s my second day here, but is there any dos and donts? Like girls and guys I should watch out for.” I ask Jamil ignoring his previous comment hoping he would move on from it as he puts his finger under his chin as if he’s thinking. “Yes and no. I mean there’s the cheer squad that they think that they kind of are our girlfriends.” He says smirking. “So maybe this right now is a bad look because they will hate you. But I doubt it because we are at an age where we shouldn’t think like that.” “Oh, so you’re setting me up for a kill.” I roll my eyes shrugging him off me as we meet up with the group. “A lot of people are still immature so you can’t just assume they aren’t going to be assholes.” “Sorry! You asked a question and I’m letting you know!” He pouts making me roll my eyes again at him. “You told her about Magenta and her trolls?” Erin ask as I shake my head. “I should’ve stayed away.” I grumble glaring at a pouting Jamil. “Jamil.” As if it was on cue a voice calls Jamil as he grumbles turning around smiling. “Tash Hello.” “Um I’m not Tash, Its Magenta.” She grumbles glaring at him slightly. “Okay well I’m off the class.” He says wrapping his arm around me before walking off. “What?” —- “Wow, you are getting death glares.” Erin laughs. As I shrug sitting down at the lunch table. “Jamil put me literally in the middle of a line of fire and set it ablaze himself.” I pout grumbling more to myself. “You know that I didn’t do it on purpose.” Jamil says making me jump as I glare up at him. “You cannot sit at this table.” I tell him sternly making him pout. “Little sis is mad at you.” Lucas laughs as I turn to glare at him too shutting him up. “I guess I can’t sit here either.” “You got that right.” I tell them turning back to the girls as they laugh. “No boys allowed club.” “You just had to open that big ass mouth.” Lucas grumbles walking away. “Want to go shopping today with all this free time you have?” Erin ask as I shrug. “I guess I could.”
