Chapter 1

17 year old Emma was a epitome of happy , cheerful & an independent girl. Well in real sense she was transforming into a brilliant young woman.....with high ambitions. She was doing great in her studies & was socially very active. Her friendly nature & her lovely smile .....could melt anyone . She was truly free spirited.....But the fettle won't be fine forever.

As the morning sunshine made it's way through the yellow curtains in Emma's room the whole room lit up in beautiful pale yellow shade. The dresser table was clean & it was a beautifully decorated room . Everything was neat in her room .....except the bed on which still she was sleeping. ......After an eight hour sleep she woke up by the noise of her ringing phone. From beneath that puffy blanket she reached for her phone which was kept on the table beside her bed. It was 'Dan' her new friend.She recieved the call & said 'Hey Danny!' In her sweet voice . He replied "'Morning beautiful ! At what time shall I pick you up ?! "

'In two hours'

'Ohk I'll be there on time'

'Ohk see yaa!'

The phone call ended up & Emma got up from her bed. She was the third child in her family after two brothers & a younger sister . She was loved by everyone. She never expected anything from anyone but made every effort to keep others happy . These traits made her very special & so different from others. "Get down for breakfast Ems" Her mother called her . After breakfast as she was helping her mom clean up the kitchen . The doorbell rang & Dan was at their doorstep. She invited him in & asked him to wait for five minutes. Emma had met Dan at a party two months ago . Dan was one of the close friends of her best friend Stephanie. Dan recently moved into their city. Since they met they spent a great deal of time together & became good friends. Dan & Emma went to the same school & also shared common interests like football & basketball. But unlike Emma who was very bubbly & enthusiastic Dan was quite introvert & mysterious type of person . But Emma helped Dan in every possible way. This was also one of the reasons that she was loved by all . After five minutes Emma & Dan left for shopping.

Stephanie's eighteenth birthday was round the corner . & Emma wanted to make her birthday memorable & give her a surprise party. Dan also volunteered to help her. They had planned everything together & today they were going to buy her gifts eighteen in number .....well its understood why !!. They had a lot of fun together while shopping for Stephanie. After shopping & having dinner together Dan dropped Emma at her home & said "its great having you around Em's"

" Thanks to you for making my day so fun"

& she hugged him & said good night.

Dan was still watching her as she entered in her house through the door & left after a few minutes.
