"I'm feeling better.” I swatted Bens' hands away. “Stop fretting.”
He didn't even attempt to drop his hands. Instead, he pulled me closer to him. So i could lean my weight against his side.
“It's just the flu-” I stuttered to a stop as we stepped into the one room in the pack house that was locked to me. Their meeting room. Lines upon lines of chairs filled with all manner of people greeted me, and every single pair of eyes turned in my direction.
“Wow, that's a lot of people.”
He chuckled, the vibrations of it flowing through my body. “Yes it is. I have a big pack. A powerful one. There's at least a hundred more that live out of town, but these are the ones who could get here on short notice.” His words trailed off. “They have come to see you and help-”
