Seeing the sincere look in Stella's eyes, I knew she was speaking from the heart. The other girls started comforting me too, as if afraid I might be deeply upset.
A warm feeling filled my heart, though I found it a bit funny. Did I seem that fragile? "Stella, I'll take what you said as a confession." I joked with a mischievous grin to shift the topic.
"What?!" Stella's eyes widened in anger. "Zack, you shameless guy! I was just comforting you!" Stella's face turned red with anger, and she reached out to pinch me.
I quickly stepped back to dodge, but Stella, unwilling to give up, chased after me, cursing. We ended up running around the cave like kids.
Mandy and Zoe couldn't help but laugh. The previously heavy atmosphere lightened considerably.
Eventually, I surrendered and let Stella pinch me twice to settle the matter.
I gathered everyone, including the two new girls, to discuss serious matters. "Sam and Quinn have escaped, but they’ve probably split up. Although Sam served in the military, he neglected his training after being discharged, so his skills have deteriorated significantly. He lived well in the forest mainly because he was smart and had Walter helping him. Now that Walter is dead and he is shot, his chances of survival are slim."
"As for Quinn, she's even worse off. She doesn't have any useful skills, so her situation might be even more dire," I said, shaking my head.
Even though I had killed two people, it was out of necessity. Deep down, I hadn't forgotten the value of life. Besides, we were all castaways, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of shared fate.
'Today it was them; will it be us next?' My mood was heavy, but I quickly shook off the negative emotions and said to the two new women, "From today on, we're all part of the same camp. Let's get to know each other!"
Hearing this, everyone began to observe Crystal and Susie curiously.
Susie, with a fawning smile, said, "Hi everyone, I'm Susie Wesley. I take dance lessons. I'm twenty years old, still in college, and I'm a new intern at the company. Nice to meet you all."
In contrast to Susie's nervous demeanor, Crystal was much more arrogant. She glanced at the other girls, then sat down with her legs apart and said, "I'm Crystal Nixon. You can call me Miss Nixon!"
Seeing her arrogance, Stella was annoyed. She couldn't help but snort. Back at the company, when would Crystal ever dare speak to her like this? She had always been respectful, but now? The more Stella thought about it, the angrier she got, and she looked at Crystal with growing disdain.
Mandy also found Crystal displeasing. Unlike Stella, who maintained her dignity, Mandy scoffed, "How dare you ask us to call you Miss Nixon? Zack, why did you bring this woman here? She was with Leo's group! Throw her to the wolves in the forest!"
"Who do you think you are? Do you know who I am? Watch your mouth! You don't want to mess with me," Crystal retorted, her eyes widening as she placed her hands on her hips, ready for a fight.
"Are you kidding me? I'd like to hear what makes you so impressive!" Mandy laughed, looking at Crystal like she was a clown.
"I am Zack's girl. Whatever he wants, I’ll give him. Can you? If not, just keep quiet!" With that, Crystal wrapped her arm around mine and deliberately pressed her chest against me.
In our brief interaction, Crystal had guessed that I hadn't been involved with any of the girls in the cave, which gave her the confidence to act boldly.
I was stunned. 'What does your argument have to do with me? Since when did you become my girl? Crystal, you're incredibly bold!'
Mandy, who had been so fierce, now blushed at Crystal's words. "Why are you so arrogant? Zack, come here and tell me, what do you want me to do?"
At that moment, all the girls turned their icy stares towards me. I didn't want to get involved in their dispute. Dealing with Stella alone was already exhausting, and considering Mandy and I had been intimate, I didn't want her to misunderstand.
I glared at Crystal. "Crystal, stop talking nonsense! Have you forgotten the rules I set? What do you mean by 'my girl'? Explain yourself!" Then, I pushed Crystal away without hesitation, raising my hands in a surrender gesture. Turning to Stella and the others, I said, "You have to believe me. I have nothing to do with this woman. Am I that kind of person?"
"Yes, you are!" Stella interrupted me coldly, her face filled with anger and resentment.
"Hmph!" Even Zoe, who was usually gentle and defended me, turned away with red eyes, clearly upset.
I was on the verge of tears. Crystal was insane. She knew how to cause trouble!
Seeing that I was angry, Crystal quickly flashed me a fawning smile. Her attitude changed entirely. "If you say no, then it's a no. After all, you're my master, and I'll follow your orders."
'Master? What on earth is she talking about?' I nearly choked on my saliva. The other girls' gazes grew even more peculiar.
"So, do you like this sort of thing? Stella was right; you are shameless!" Zoe covered her face, both embarrassed and angry.
"Pervert!" Stella looked at me with even more disdain. It seemed I was destined to bear the blame today. How unfair!
Ignoring the reactions of the other girls, Crystal continued to look at me intently. "Zack, I was just joking, but they took it seriously. It's unbearable. Look at me, I'm entirely focused on you, yet you treat me harshly." Crystal pouted and grabbed my hand, shaking it coquettishly. "From now on, don't talk with them. Having me is enough."
Before I could react, Crystal started massaging my shoulders. "Zack, you've had a busy day. Let me give you a massage."
This action infuriated the other girls even more. Their murderous glares were directed at me. I really couldn't understand how things had taken a turn. It was a fight among the girls, instigated by Crystal, not me. So why did they all look like they wanted to kill me?
Crystal started massaging my shoulders, but her hands wandered. She moved from my shoulders to my chest, then to my thighs. Her soft hands felt soothing, easing my muscle aches from the past few days. However, seeing the girls in front of me about to lose control, I didn't dare to enjoy it any longer.
"That's enough, Crystal. You don't need to flatter me like this. We're all survivors of the crash in this cave. We treat each other equally." I coughed and pushed her hand away. I knew Crystal was trying to ingratiate herself because she was a newcomer in the camp and didn't have a high status.
As the only man in the camp, I had naturally become everyone's pillar and key to survival. Crystal wanted to curry favor with me to ensure a more comfortable life on this island.
Upon hearing my statement, Crystal stopped causing trouble, and the other girls' expressions also calmed down a bit.
But things didn't end so easily. While we were eating, Mandy hadn't started yet, her gaze towards Crystal growing angrier.
Suddenly, Mandy spoke up, "What's so great about a massage? Anyone can do that!"
She shouted abruptly, then placed her bowl on the ground and rushed to my side. Without waiting for my response, she pinned me down and started massaging my shoulders and back.
I wanted to refuse, but as soon as I opened my mouth, Mandy increased the pressure, as if trying to squeeze the flesh off my bones. The pain distorted my expression. I glanced at Mandy, only to meet her murderous gaze. I could only smile bitterly and nod. Mandy then softened her touch.
"I'll massage your legs!" Crystal snorted and moved beside me, unwilling to be outdone.
My mouth curled into a smile, feeling somewhat pleased.
Two beautiful women, each with their unique charm, were massaging my shoulders and legs. This was a scene that I could have only dreamed of before.
But now, it was something I had to do out of necessity. Ah, it was both painful and boring! Though I said this, my grin was almost reaching my ears.
Just as I was condemning myself for enjoying it too much, a teasing voice came from behind me. "Hmm? What's going on here? I just went out for a moment, and you're already acting like a king!"
