Winter was coming, so heavy snow was on its way. Once winter hit, I could finally cause an avalanche! The snowstorms on this island were terrifying; it only took two or three days for the snow to pile up so high that it was on the same level as most people's hips. The avalanche I create will be monstrous, it could easily kill a few savages.
Causing an avalanche was much easier than blowing up a mountain; I didn't need explosives. I just needed to make a loud noise. To make it more likely to succeed, I had to loosen the snow on the mountain first.
