I grabbed the flashlight and shone it in that direction. This time, I finally saw a humanoid shadow flash by! The figure was enormous, nearly 7 feet tall. The thought of such a massive creature lurking and moving in the darkness was chilling.
White's barking woke everyone up, and the girls also saw the shadow. They had previously thought I was hallucinating, but now that they saw it with their own eyes, they were terrified, huddling together and not daring to move.
