The wrecked ship lay tilted on the slope of the lakebed. Its massive size made it look like a small mountain leaning against another. I couldn't tell how many years it had been submerged here, its surface now covered in moss.
A shipwreck at the bottom of Devil's Lake—this was undeniably strange. The Kova people were terrified of Devil's Lake; even the slightest touch of its water made them sick. How could they have built such a large ship and sailed it to the center of the lake?
'How did this thing even get here?'
A huge question mark formed in my mind. Thankfully, the wreck wasn't too far from where I was, so I quickly swam toward it. I stopped by the eastern side of the ship, crouching down to inspect it closely. The more I observed, the more puzzled and astonished I became.
