Dave couldn’t wait to get back to the station. He needed to get out of this rain and somewhere warm again. He could barely feel his fingers, but he stayed in position, wanting everyone on board to know their captain was in control. But he knew he couldn’t control the ocean. The weather. Any of it. His impatience kept his fingers clenched into fists, and he refused to look away from their destination. The lights on the tip of the land where he launched from each day finally came into view, and they docked a few minutes later.
