The constant buzzing in my head and the throbbing headache made me wonder what’s going on. Trying to lift my hand to cup my head proved difficult…or more like impossible. I cracked one eyes open and immediately snapped it shut when the bright light hit my eyes.
With my eyes still closed, I paid closer attention to my environment, the beeping sound hinting to me that I might be in the hospital. To speak wasn’t as easy as I presumed it to be, so I settled for silence.
Hushed whispers can be heard across the room, the voice identified to be Badok’s and Nate’s. My conscious state remained oblivious to them as the whispered to themselves. Straining my ears, I listened to their discussion.
